No me importó que fueran deprisa, tenían gran química y pude sentir cómo encajaban juntos.<br><br>A pesar de lo emocional, la historia de ellos fue muy linda, tierna y muy ardiente. La disfruté de principio a fin.<br><br>Me gustó más que el anterior, sentí que había más profundidad no solo en la historia sino también en los personajes a pesar claro de lo corto que fue.<br><br>Amé el prólogo!!!??❤️ Morí con ese, así de cursi estoy en esta tarde de lectura.<br><br><br><br> </i>

Historia muy corta y simple. Pero cumple su función que es ganar fluidez lectora con el inglés

AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. Brady is a firefighter who is struggling with guilt issues when he failed to save a family the previous year. Because of that, he feels like a failure, unworthy of accepting a promotion or bringing someone else into his life. Olivia is a new florist who is closing herself off to certain relationships because her fiancé, a cop, was killed in the line of duty. So she does casual hookups that she thinks are “safe”. She is interested in Brady, but he’s a firefighter and could get killed on the job. So she is afraid to take a chance with him.<br /><br />Now both of them have to consider what they are giving up, and whether their “sacrifice” really makes a different in the long run if it means walking away from someone who could be very special in their lives. Healing needs to begin somewhere. Taking a risk isn’t “safe” necessarily. But letting life pass you by also isn’t satisfying. Who will take the first steps? <br />

This is the second book in this fun series They are reasonable short reads so perfect for when you don't have a lot of time Like the first book it flowed well and kept me engaged<br /><br />Brady met Olivia at his best friends Cooper wedding (Rescuing you) he is suffering he was all set to become the new Captain at his firefighting station but losing a family in a fire has destroyed his confidence in himself and his ability top lead the men. Olivia has her own issues she is finally making a go of her florist shop and starting her life over after losing her fiancee a police officer in the line of duty The attraction between them is instant but she won't risk her heart with someone whose job puts them in danger Can they get a future together and will he finally forgive himself You will have to read to see

First time reading this authors work and it certainly won't be the last , this was a thoroughly enjoyable read about subjects that happen in real life , Brady and Olivia are such great characters , but both have painful pasts(no spoilers from me just read the book) and eventually decide to take a leap of faith , it's a quickie emotional read and I could feel their pain , angst and more as I read the story , it really was a fab read , yes I know not everyone will agree with some reviews but for me Sarah did a fab job with this book and I can't wait to read more of her books, one to read<br /><br />I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Brady met Olivia at his best friend's engagement party. He wants Olivia the moment he notices her. Brady doesn't think he's worthy of love, and Olivia isn't looking for a commitment. They both were dealing with issues and didn't know how to move forward. The mutual attraction between the two was indisputable. <br />Will they have a change of heart and give romance a try? This is a new Author for me and the first book that I have read in this series. I thought the story was written well and flowed along nicely. I liked the characters, they felt real to me and I felt a connection to them. There was a touch of sadness to this story but also there was hope, dreams, love, friendships and family. Olivia and Brady were both damaged and neither thought they wanted to venture into a romance. Their chemistry couldn't be denied though, and they end up wondering if they have found the one. Will they move on from their past hurts and heal each other?
