Bear Your Fate

So WORTH the wait!!!</b><br /><br />Feels like FOREVER since I’ve been (im)patiently waiting and just plain old dying for Carrick’s story. Well, I’ll be damned, I should have known Rochelle Paige would make all the wait worthwhile, because this book was a EVERYTHING I was hoping for and more!<br />Carrick, the alpha of the clan and dad to all McMahon siblings was just as perfect as he seemed to be, all alpha, all protective, all growly and possessive for the female he considered his from the start, and the pairing could have been any more blissful and happy!<br />With his background and what he know about his past and the fated mated issues in his life, Ms. Paige weaved the romance and love with this two with a brilliant solution/explanation that I was rooting for from the start, and all the HEA we love and crave for in this steamy and romantic little reads! <br />Perfect addition/new wave to this series, and now let the stalking for Damien’s book begin! &lt;3 &lt;3 &lt;3 &lt;3 &lt;3<br /><br /><b>“It doesn’t matter to me how uncommon it is. 4.5 Stars!<br /><br />Carrick and Audra are an older couple. Carrick has had a fated mate who turned on his family. Audra has never had a consort, but they are parents and grandparents. They've lived life and seen their children find their own fated mates/consorts. When they find themselves feeling a very strong pull to each other, despite not being fated they can't ignore how drawn they are to each other.<br /><br />I love fated mate books but what's even better is when two people want each other despite not being fated to each other. To me that shows they chose that person despite the odds being against them. To me, it makes their love story that much sweeter. <br /><br />If you're not familiar with this author, you can look forward to complete devotion in her main characters. A possessive hero, independent heroines, great side characters and a fun storyline. I've enjoyed seeing Carrick finally find the love that he deserves. That love being Audra just makes their family that much stronger. ARC provided by Author.<br />

Its Live!<br /><br />I was so happy to hear that Carrick got his story! It has been quite a while since I have read shifter story and it was just what I was needing. <br /><br />-no cheating <br />-no ow/om drama<br />-no violence of a sexual nature <br />-safe - neither are with others after meeting <br />-epilogue - it wasn't very far out and definitely would have loved more!

<b>No rating..</b><br /><br />Safe. As in no OW/OM drama. <br /><br />But I do have a problem with this. He had a "fated mate" before she chose another man over him, he has like 5, 6 kids? They were so many that I lost count and was confused because it's been a long time I've read this series. Anyway, what's the point of having a fated mate when you can have as many? For me fated mate it means you can only mate with your destined mate. For me a fated mate means there's only one mate for that person/wolf, I also hate than he can have many kids with other women. She also has a daughter from someone else. <br />

I don’t understand why anyone in this universe would mate with someone who wasn’t their fated mate. Carrick had triplets with some mystery woman and then met his fated mate after and had a daughter. This means he met a woman BEFORE meeting his fated mate, yet never actually “mated” to her? I would understand not waiting if fated mates were rare, but they seem super common. <br /><br />The daughter is an actual goddess because how can you just manipulate/change fate like that? Fate is inevitable, yet she just casted a spell and boom? New mate, forget the horrible old one? What about the person who was originally fated to be Audra’s consort? Does that person get a new fated mate?<br /><br />Also, this effectively makes Carrick’s daughter-in-law his stepdaughter. These family ties are getting twisted. <br /><br />This was a weird concept, but I did like the characters and am happy to see them get their happily ever after. <br /><br />⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great read. I loved this one. Waited a long time for it. Love that they wanted to be together no matter what. It was a great story. Slight push/pull, didn't last too long.

So, I'm so happy Papa Bear finally has the mate he should have had all along but since I know pretty much NOTHING about her I can't really shout this book from the rooftops either.<br /><br />Seriously is it really that hard to put in some character develipment for your heroines?<br /><br />She didn't love her babby daddy... ok but why wasn't he a part of her daughter's life? Again no real answers as to what happens in a witch coven.<br /><br />Whatever. It's over now and I've decided Rochelle isn't someone I'm going to follow/read again so I'll just let it go.<br /><br />If you want something REALLY light and aren't to worried about characters pasts etc then this is the author for you.

<strong>Meant to be</strong><br /><br />Carrick has been alone for a long time, he’s raised his sons to be strong and honourable men. His standing as the head Alpha of the bear clan as well as his position on the council has kept him busy. <br /><br />His sons are now mated and hopelessly In love with their mates. He has grandchildren that he adores. Though he’s lived alone without a mate to stand by his side, the one that fate had decided was his did not workout for him. She had already been mated to a wolf shifter. She was not the one he was truly meant to be with in any case. An evil and selfish woman. <br /><br />When Audra his daughter-in-laws mother first came to visit the attraction was mutual. For both of them. But with so much happening and the threat against their families it was not something they could openly pursue. <br /><br />Now though? That’s going to change, Carrick wants Audra for his. Fate obviously got it wrong the first time. She will be his mate. Forever. <br /><br />

My Carrick, my Carrick, my Carrick finally got his own book...yay. And it was so wonderful, sweet and sexy. He is the alpha of the bear pack and such a great guy. Loving father of triplett boys and a daughter, he is such a caretaker and never gets anything for himself. Audra is one of his daughter-in-laws moms, who just so happens to be a powerful witch. These two have such chemistry and my Carrick is quite the dirty talker *wags eyebrows*.<br /><br />So happy he got an hea of his own and with a wonderful well deserving woman, in need of her own hea. This was a safe read, no ow or om drama. A little suspense, many of our favorites from the series, an epilogue and an hea. Thank you Rochelle Paige for writing this book, it made my heart happy. Psst...fingers crossed that Damien gets a book too?. I know, I know, subtle like a Mack truck.

This is the fourth book in the McMahon Clan series and the seventh book in the Fated Mates series by Rochelle Paige. Damn, I feel like I’ve waited forever for this book to come out and I had to go back to the last one to refresh my memory. Well finally Carrick, the head of the McMahon clan gets a very happy ending which he definitely deserved. Carrick McMahon has watched his triplet sons and daughter find their fated mates and he’s now a Grandpa. He lost his mate years ago when she left him for someone else and he’s resigned himself to being alone. Audra is a witch, she is the High Priestess of her coven and Selene’s (Camden’s wife) mom. She hasn’t found her consort yet but every time she’s near Carrick she gets a tingling feeling on her wrist where her consort mark should appear. Carrick and Audra are very attracted to each other and they’ve had sex a few times but Audra is hesitant to continue. Selene loves Carrick and wants him to be as happy as her and Camden and she may have found a way for him to have a second chance at a fated mate.
