DNF 10%

I love a good alien romance, and was looking forward to this read, however only a few pages in and I was unable to immerse myself in the story due to the writing. The dialogue was choppy and felt off, I just couldn’t get comfortable reading it.

Then we have the alien hero (who is part of the Royal family – a Prince), I was expecting a strapping, take charge hero who would have smoking hot chemistry with the heroine, whether they did have sizzling chemistry I will never know, because depictions of the hero and he's thoughts annoyed me so much I had it to DNF the book. For example, the heroine along with her dad is seeking asylum, a request the hero can either reject or grant – and his first thoughts are this woman could be a potential mate match, one that has saved him the hassle of having to attend any more events, and even is she isn’t and at least he can have some fun before going home. Talk about seeming to have no problem taking advantage of his position.

Yay to this being a book that was acquired via KU.

Seven Brides ? for Seven Princes?

In exchange for their alien technology, ?Earth offers the seven Princes of Trilynia seven human brides?. After searching the Earth? for four years, Manzar, one of the princes?, is about to give up and go back home. But finally, he meets Andromeda, a dissident , at a ball and he knows his search is over, even if she doesn't know it yet!
Their budding relationship is plagued by the Humanity First Terrorists who plant bombs and try to kill the alien visitors.

ARC Received from Booksprout?
I also got the book with KU.

This is an interesting take on the human bride? for The Alien Prince? style of romance novel, in that there is real opposition from the other humans. Am sure this is the first of at least seven novels in this series!
Some of the dialogue was stilted and odd.

The Heroine and her father are the real villians

I wanted to love this story. I really did.

The hero was a generic prince - cocky, demanding, sexual and dominant in bed. He was fine.

The heroine?
TDTL. Same goes for her father.

Our house was bombed but I am going to contact my ex - the bomber because the prince wants to marry me... Even though I LOVE the Trilyn/aliens and came to the prince to have him protect us.

Then when the Trilyn/aliens keep venting about how they wished they knew who the bad guys were and their base... The heroinen doesnt say shit about it to help them.

Then her father lies, runs off, gets two innocent guards killed... Only to get caught by her ex and ending up telling the bad guys all of the Trilyn/alien secrets.

The whole time the heroine calls the hero a beast when her father and herself are the real monsters.

There were a lot of parts which I had to skim because they were over descriptive and dragged - I basically skimmed the last 1/3 of the because I got sick and tired of the babble.
As I was reading it I had a feeling it was a book written by a teenager (first book written, ever).
From the very beginning the main characters annoyed me, both of them, thought Manzar at least made more sens. Andromeda on the other hand is introduced as a progressive thinking young woman who is working towards better understanding of an alien race. That's the description. Then she's given a voice and what does she say about Trilyn? She calls the guy she's about to meet a beast... Not because she knows him or has an opinion about his dealings or behaviour, she calls him that because he doesn't look as human as his brothers.
That's a very open minded opinion - aliens are fine just as long as they look like humans.
Sigh, I know it's supposed to be Beauty and the Beast story, still it would make the woman at least likable if she waited with hating the guy till she met him in person.
To sum it up, no sign of intelligent life was found in the book.

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
It was a greatl book !
Andromeda was stuck w/ Prince Manzar.
It did not mean that she had to like it.
Prince Manza was tired of the parade of possible mates.
He cannot believe that his mate came from most unlikely place.
Now, he has to convince her that she is his mate.
Let the wooing begin ! or not. Who knows.
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I totally adore the Trilyn Princes and the stories that follow them. While this book can be read as a standalone, who would want to miss out on the other sexy Trilyn Princes. As always there is plenty of intrigue and suspense surrounding the prince and his perfect match and we learn exactly how Andi handled Prince Manzar's secret of knowing in advance of their match. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

An interesting twist on Beauty and the Beast, I loved the chemistry between Andi and Manzer, and the way the theme kept coming back to him being the monster that she had to tame. I did feel though, that some of the characterizations were not consistent with how I thought they should go. Like Andi's dad is supposed to be brilliant, but he was impulsive and seemed simple-minded in his petty jealousy and actions. The Prince was forceful, but also willful and prone to jumping to conclusions, not really leader like, and he let his captain of the guard run so many things. The story was really good, the plot was strong, but there were parts that felt repetitive and slow. This is totally a great book to read through, and I had trouble putting it down, I'm just used to this author's books steamrolling me right through the whole thing, I guess I'm spoiled. I'm definitely recommended this book be put on your TBR list, it was full of action, great character interactions, and identifiable bad guys.

Nice story ....

I enjoyed this book ! I have read this Author before, and she has a certain style and flow that I find addictive .
As with most Alien books , the couple s must learn how to get along and overcome their differences.
In this book , Prince Manzar has been ordered to find his mate among the Human females. He simply wants to return home and is tired of these unsuccessful gatherings.
Andi , is a photo journalist and her and her Father are some of the few Humans who enjoys studying the Aliens and their culture. But not every one shares in that point of view , and Andi and her Father find themselves at the mercy of Prince Manzar. Will be take advantage of the duo , or throw them out on their behinds ???

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Andromeda"Andi" LaBelle and Prince Manzar of Trilyn. Andi can't believe that the man she was dating would really want to kill her and her father. However she wonders how much about that man she really knew. Her father is a xenoanthropologist and is working with the Trilyn race which has made him a target from the HFT or Humanity First Terrorists. After the attack on their home her father does the only thing he can and asks for asylum from Prince Manzar. Andi can't believe he has done this but soon realizes this is their best option. Manzar has been on the plant earth for 3 years now all he wants is to find the woman who can bare him young and go home. He never thought he would find a woman who makes him hunger for her like he has never known. Can they be each other's HEA or will there be things that will always be in their way?

This is an amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Surprisingly, I actually loved this book. I am usually apprehensive about starting a new series. I usually read the first 3 books if I can, just to get a feel for the series. The last 2 books were so-so, but after reading this one, I will continue with the series.

I find Manzar quiet and contempt, yet under a lot of pressure. he is the type of person who yearns to follow rules but does not expect anything in return.

I love his composure and clothing taste too. Manzar may be a beastly Male, and look less of a humanoid compared to his brothers, but at heart he yearns to be loved, and to feel love. Through the ups and downs and feelings of hurt and betrayal, he finds it all.

A beautiful tale.
