Kyle and Katya are looking forward to a vacation in Fiji when their plans are circumvented by a request from the White House for a new mission. The request was to steal a missile to thwart a threat to the United States. Little did they know what awaited them. Even though the mission seemed somewhat suspicious, because it was from the White House, specifically the White House Chief of Staff, they went along with ii. Kyle and Katya were thrust into a situation that was nothing like what they suspected and ended up in a fight for their lives. As the true mission unfolded it became up to Kyle and Katya to stop a diabolical plan hatched by three CEO’s and the White House Chief of Staff. How they did it was so surprising. This is one of the best books I have ever read—so much tension, drama and intrigue. I literally could not put this book down. When everything came together in the end, I was breathless! Read and enjoy!!!

Kyle and Katya form a formidable team...
In this book, you will see Katya really involved in the action. She has mad skills and when they face individual crises of mind or anxiety, the other provide a strength so they power through.

This book made me question nothing but the sanity of its illustrious author. How he continues to provide twists and turns, scaring us with the ideas he has honed to perfection, I have no idea.

The timing of this book is quite intriguing as we looked at the Democrats in their debates and the whittling of candidates. To think this could happen in our country is unnerving but I have a high degree of hearing out conspiracy theories and the events of this book is as scary as Covid-19.

This is a must read. Kudos, Tim to yet another successful and spine-tingling thriller.

The latest in the series that never disappoints. An intricate plot that is effortlessly woven together. I can't say enough about these books. The main character almost seems superhuman, but is so believable you realize he isn't. The use of technology in the plot could seem implausible, but isn't. I particularly like that, in the afterword of the books, Mr. Tigner has references for all the seemingly unusual plot concepts and technologies used in the book.

Once again Tim Tigner knocks a Kyle Achilles thriller out of the park. Tigner's plotting and characterisation are always a highlight, regardless of subject matter, and he continues to bring in new situations and villains for his hero to deal with.
An absolute page turning thriller with much more intelligence than you usually get from this sort of novel.
Excellent again.

“One of Achilles’ pet peeves was the way so many people trusted their gut judgment over the opinions of experts when it came to political affairs. They deferred to lawyers for legal issues and consulted doctors for health concerns. They called plumbers to unclog toilets and electricians to change fuses. But for some reason every Tom, Dick and Harry believed in his own ability to fix the infinitely more nuanced and complicated affairs of state.” (Chapter 104, page 424; Kindle location 5738).

That single paragraph sums up a great deal of what is wrong with our country. I am confident that you have to work in government in order to understand government. And, the higher you go the more complicated it is. But there is one thing we can all understand when we see it, corruption. During the reign of Queen Victoria, Sir John Dalberg-Acton, 8th Baronet, wrote a letter in which he stated a much-repeated phrase, “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Unfortunately, in my lifetime (and Franklin Roosevelt was President when I drew my first breath 2 days before the “date that will live in infamy”), I have seen corruption at all levels of government over and over. I was even a victim of it at a state department level many years ago. Achilles is now faced with governmental corruption. I have to wonder, are there any individuals in public office today whose moral principles and grasp of “of the people, by the people and for the people” are beyond question?

The four individuals Achilles meets in Boundless Ambition are certainly not individuals with a high moral compass. While this is not a book about political parties and historic political events, you can certainly see where the boundless ambition of the C3/C4 could be reproduced. I believe people like this infiltrate government at all levels and both major parties. Therefore, this book could serve as a warning: BEWARE. Where is our Achilles when we need him.

Well done, Tim Tigner. I drew out the reading of this book as long as I could because I don’t know when I will get another one by you. I highly recommend this book.

Ambition...how does it start ...where does it end? Is it corporate ambition that creates evil or political ambition that desires power. Does ambition lead to power and evil or deliver evil. The author has you questioning it all by revealing the central characters and their ambition. Achilles once again represents the good to conquer the evil. Will he and his wife succeed..how many obstacles must they overcome. Loved the problem solving, strategy and execution details. Loved this book. Another success by author Tim Tigner.

This is on fabulous story, once Kyle Achilles gets going you can’t put it down. Plan on staying up really late! Tim Tigner does a wonderful job creating a plot that leads on and on, and he is very good at unveiling it in a nice orderly fashion. I also like how he researches what he uses in his novels so you can actually learn stuff rather than those that don’t care and make up crap that isn’t reality. It doesn’t get much better than Boundless Ambition. Highly recommend reading this book. 5

Achilles is recruited on a daring mission by the President's Chief of Staff. When his role is completed and he's deemed expendable, Achillies (and Katya) have other ideas. We're led on a round the world game of hop scotch that will keep the pages turning and an evil plot that will leave you scatching your head asking are people that greedy (rheotrical question). Another great read from Tim Tigner.

My favorite couple!

I am terrible doing reviews, so I keep it simple. Read this series! You will love Kyle and Katya Achilles! The stories are always fresh, fast paced, never boring, and the two main characters are just a blast. I love this series, this book, and cannot wait for the next one.
