Introduction:
Liv Collins has a problem. Her sister has vanished without a trace. Like a bad dream, not even a private detective can find Sybilla. All the way across the country, living in New York City, Liv feels helpless and hopeless. All of that anguish disappears when she goes to bed one night only to wake up in a damp, dark forest surrounded by the scent of smoke and… Vikings? They are huge, all of them, but she can only focus on the one with the pale blue eyes as he watches her intently. He is battle-hardened and scarred. He is massive, with long hair, covered in dirt, blood, paint, and tattoos. Everything about him should frighten her. Especially the fact that they don’t even speak the same language.Aaric, the Sea King, has been the King of Wolfjour Ail for many years. A kingdom he is proud to rule, as long as he can do so from raiding ships that travel the world to provide riches for his people. An ancient prophecy has come to light. Witches, dragons, Vikings, and magic make up this parallel uni...

Are you serious ? Let me get this straight, they meet, she's terrified, he takes her on his horse for a short time then rapes her on the ground but that's okay because her body betrays her and she actually wants it. NO, SHE DOES NOT FUCKING WANT IT. She has no choice in the matter. Buckle up because this is in the first 30 pages too. I am not interested to read more.

I liked this one, I'm not going to lie it does have some Golden Dynasty vibes, but a really good second book in the series and after read both books one and two consecutively I will be reading the last two in the series when they come out.

I am in love with this series! I enjoyed book 2 even more than book 1. Aaric and Liv’s story is packed with action, amazing characters, heartfelt dialogue and enough heat to melt your kindle. Prophecies, witched, dragons and more. I am hooked on these books and can’t wait for book 3.

I received an arc of this book.

Rating: 4.5 Stars

At the beginning of the book you’ll see how much work the author has done to create the world for this series. The author then shows how she created the prophecy. It’s a quiet statement for a series that will grab your attention.

Liv sets us up with a mystery surrounding one of her sisters. That should give you a hint that if you haven’t read Bride of the Traitor yet you should. Aaric wants more out of life. Sometimes that can be hard when you’re the man in charge.

Our adventure starts almost from the beginning. Is it fantasy? Is it historical? Where are these characters taking us and is it a ride you really want to end? Liv was a great reminder of when I read my first time travel story. Even though the stories have changed a lot since that book, the author gave me back that feeling. It’s a story of possibilities and a lot of creativity. And I loved seeing that world through Liv’s eyes.

The only issue i had was that the “words and phrases” the author so kindly put at the beginning isn’t something that I can’t print off my e-reader so that I have a quick guide I can look at. I didn’t want to toggle back and forth because I felt that it would take away from my enjoyment of the story. This is not a tame story so expect a lot of steam heat between our main characters. Our author left me wanting to “step” right into the next book of this great series but she’s gives us a pleasant little surprise that left me frowning because now I don’t know when the next book is coming out.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Oh, Vikings who don't love the dirty nasty hot men?! Well me until I read Bride of the Sea! I am not a woman that falls for a man of the sea, considering I hate water, but I loved this book.

Aaric is an alpha man that doesn't take anything from anyone. So when a woman shows up from nowhere he is naturally hesitant to trust. But not enough to get down and dirty with her. HAHA. The chemistry between Aaric and Liv is off the charts. Language barriers are damned.

Liv is the second sister of the prophecy. She has been searching for her sister on another dimension when she is transported to the same place her sister Sybilla is but on another part. So while Sybilla is dealing with her King, Liv will get her knight and shinning Viking.

These two will have some issues but will eventually get over them while magic comes to call for their love and will make them question if love is true or not. Hayley will not fall us on strong characters and an even stronger storyline. I am enjoying this series more and more!

Blog: http://myfantasylandblog.com/
Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/fantasylandblog
Twitter: https://twitter.com/fantasylandblog
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fantasyland...
BookBub: https://www.bookbub.com/profile/27664...

I'm such a huge fan of Hayley Faiman I love all of her books when I read the first book in the Prophecy of sisters series I feel in love with the plot but for Bride of the sea it did take me some time to connect to the characters and story line . After reading book one I couldn't wait to read this one I looove Vikings but for some reason I couldn't get into this one I felt like the heroine was a bit annoying and the hero really didn't redeem himself and there was a scene that bugged me alittle at the end it just felt like it didn't need to be put there . But this still was a good story I just didn't connect to it as fast as I normally do when it comes to this authors books . I am excited to read what's to come in this series and be introduced to new characters .

Unlikeable guy

Some guys start out as jerks but you eventually warm up to them. However, when a guy is as so unlikeable as this one, there's no coming back from that for me. Having her dragged naked from their bed and thrown into the dungeon. Nope, no coming back from that. Shame because I like this author but she tends to fix everything with sex. It's actually pretty demeaning thinking that you can completely humiliate a woman but she'll forgive you cause the sex will make her forget. Nothing worse than a week woman written by a woman.

I have no words to fully explain the magnificence of this book. Hayley Faiman already blew me away with the start of this series, but not even that could have prepared me for how incredible Bride of the Sea is. From this second I started reading this I was hooked, unable to stop reading for anything. And I mean anything. I devoured every page of this book in one sitting. With every book, Hayley never fails to blow me away, but this Fantasy series? This is one of the greatest not only from her but in general.
Liv and Aaric have an incredible story that had me going through every emotion imaginable. I yelled, I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I swooned, I fell completely head over heels in love with these characters. Their story goes non-stop from start to finish in a way that grabs you and just does not let go. I was so attached to each and every character I could happily read only this forever.
I cannot wait for more in this series!

it started good but then around 30% i kept seeing stuffs i didn't like and i decided to stop this reading.
i'm usually not into paranormal but when i rarely read one's i need some stuffs in it to make me enjoy it. After i pass the first thing i didn't like i kept seeing more. Unfortunately i don't have the patience to keep reading this book because i'm not into it. But this can be just my case.
