So, we got this ARC a little early, so by accident I already started before I read Iris. I however quickly noticed my error and put the book aside and ever since I've been looking forward to reading this book. And even though I was actually gonna wait patiently until tomorrow, I just had to pick up something light hearted and fun after the last couple of days I've had. If I have to send one more complaint message I'm gonna scream!

This book was however perfect to forget about all of that and it's mainly because of the true star in this story. Buttercup! Buttercup is the kind of character you instantly connect with because she's so much like most girls I know. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Not at all. She's a little insecure, a little clumsy, her self esteem is not that impressive and she has some trouble letting the past go, even if that past was bad for her. I think that every girl and every woman at some level can recognize that. And I guess that we therefore will all root for her.

What I also really loved is that the harem seemed to grow and form kinda organically. A lot of times with the mating bond kicking in the connection between personalities gets forgotten, but that's not the case here. I had the feeling that every scene was building that connection. The characters were bonding, were having conversations, were being honest with each other and were pouring their hearts out and talking about feelings.

And even though there wasn't some action packed plot slowly moving me to the edge of my seat, each and every character had their own smaller subplot. Buttercup was slowly figuring out who she was and most of all what she was, but all of her guys each had their own struggles and lessons to learn too. And because of all the different point of views I really had the impression we were really witnessing that growth.

At least, by the end of the story, I had a smile on my face again and forgot about all the stuff I had to fix today. Well. Almost.

Logan was a bit of a prick, or at least insensitive. I’m glad the brother got a happy ending. Not much on the bad guy front, mainly identity secrets and sex. Favourite of the four is probably Magnus and Casper.

Well Love Blooms strikes again! This time around we have Buttercup who owns her own bakery. She has not had great relationships in the past. That includes parents and ex boyfriends. So when she gets new about her ex it gets to her. Don't worry Logan shows up and she gets mixed signals from him. Then one night everything changes. She meets Magnus and Casper, one is a kelpie and the other is a demon. Lets not forget about Ausar, the sphinx. They all have a pull to her and she is weary about it. Can she trust it? Then she finds out more about herself and she is shocked. I was really shocked by it all. Do they get to the bottom of all the information she learns. Are the guys really her mates? There is one way to find out? Will she get her happily ever after? Well I do know that once you read her story you will love her and the guys. Its an amazing book and oh boy is it smexy.

Buttercup is another great addition to the silver springs library. She’s funny and sweet and sassy and a baker who Is trying to build up her business! A well written, sweet and sexy treat for us as Buttercup meets her harem and what a group it is. Some fine hot and sexy guys, a real mixture of paranormal beings , there’s secrets and mystery and definitely some steam and fun, I’d say another win for this series!

Aww Buttercup and her guys...

Buttercup is a baker who finds love not where and from whom she expects once she's handed off the infamous "Love Blooms' book. It was definitely nice to see different shifters than the normal. Buttercup learns so much about herself with the help of her guys. I loved it!

Buttercup is such a sweetheart that makes tasty treats. She mates but they aren’t what she’s expecting but exactly what and who she needs. I don’t like her mom much she isn’t helpful or Nurturing .

I’ve been looking forward to Buttercup since I saw that Helen was writing a book for this series! The cover is so bright and eye catching and I loved the idea of a baker getting her own harem.
Buttercup has a distanced and sweet personality, but can be sassy when she needs to be. I enjoyed the mystery of what she is and how she discovered it. I felt bad for her with her experience as a child and the relationship she had with her mother, but she really did make something for herself in Silver Springs.
Casper, a kelpie shifter, was my favorite of her guys. I’ve only ever heard of a kelpie shifter in one other series and I think they’re luring and amazing. Magnus was my next favorite because I have a soft spot for demons and thought a “monk demon” was interesting. I think harems are better when at least two of the guys are already close to one another and I like the friendship that Casper and Magnus have. Logan, a vampire, was smooth and gave off player vibes even though he was shy and only had eyes for Buttercup. Ausar, a sphinx shifter, has a crappy family history in the town and I couldn’t help but feel bad for the trouble that his sister has caused him and other residents.
Although we didn’t get to see too much of her career in action, I did love hearing about some of her delicious creations. I liked that we got a small glimpse of Silver Springs Penitentiary, but I would’ve liked to see more. There was a hint at dinosaur shifters and I’m hoping that maybe we’ll get a book with them in the future!
*I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review

??ONE FANTABULOUS TREAT??
Buckle up! Helen delivers one fun-filled delight, bringing all the frills, spills, feels and fiascos, laying on some heat and a little magic, working this baby into a tizzy, wrapping it up sleek, shiny and tight. A churning vortex chocked-full of stunning mishaps and intense circumstances, propel those spinning emotions into play front and center, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration. Crossing the lines and shattering boundaries, limitations are amplified and negotiated, booting this jewel into overdrive, kicking it into a frenzy with astonishing results. Braided, banded and interwoven, exposing the funky quirks and defying bents, displaying the soaring ups and agonizing downs, impressive in it's simplicity and thrilling in it's depth, molding our characters in ways they could never have envisioned. Countenance and dynamics in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add diversity, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Fantastic job Helen, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Buttercup is a siren. She moved to Silver Springs to start a new life. When she receives upsetting news about her ex boyfriend, she decides to have a night out with her girls at Vee, the town's only club (read Rose by Jewels Arthur to find out more about Vee). Logan, Vee's new bartender, is also a vampire and Buttercup can't quite explain her attraction to him. He seems interested in her too one moment and the next he is courting another girl. While dancing, she catches the eye of Magnus, a demon, and Casper, a kelpie. Both turn out to be her mates, and who knew that having sex with a demon will release your demon powers if you had any. It came as a surprise to Buttercup, now a half siren and a half demon. The next day, she meets her third mate Ausir, a sphinx. However she can't denied her attraction to Logan, anymore and cleared any misunderstanding, Buttercup now has 4 mates.

Buttercup was a nice read, although I felt like everything happened too fast: finding her mates one after the other, falling in love right away and accepting everything that came her way. However, I liked how we also see characters from the other books in the Spell Library series.
It's a fast-burn and standalone story.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.
