3,5 ❤️❤️❤️⭐️s

Did you see the cover? Beautiful! So was the story of Chase and Megan. Beautifully written despite its predictability, romantic and sweet.
They had an explosive chemistry and a strongly emotional connection.
Their journey could have been further developed and with more depth, instead of consuming the first part of the book with their sexual interactions - which by the way were wonderful.
I am sad to repeat myself, but having free sex while the woman is on the pill, does not protect either of the couple from STDs.
Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable summer romance read.

This is my first book by this author. Single parents is my favorite trope, so I couldn't wait to read this one. The writing was great, and I enjoyed the story. I only gave it 3 stars because I felt like most of the book was about their chemistry. I would have loved to read more about Megan's struggles being pregnant & a single parent. Even after she sees Jasper after almost four years, it seemed to be about their chemistry. I would have liked to see more interactions with Jasper & Chase. Jasper forgave her too fast, and it just didn't seem realistic to me. However, I did enjoy this book, and will definitely check out another one of her books.
This is a second chance romance story.

Jasper Chase plays professional football and is California for a weekend playoff game. Megan Lewis is in California for a week of business meetings. They are both staying at the same hotel and literally run into each other one afternoon. Jasper see's Megan that same night in the hotel's bar area and goes over to talk with her. They have a lot to talk about, and they both have eyes for each other.

Even though Megan and Jasper seem to really hit things off in California, things couldn't be more different for them when they return to their homes on the east coast. Jasper tries to make things work between them, but, with the paparazzi always following him Megan never stood a chance.
They meet again 4 yrs down the road again, completely by accident. However, Jasper wants to find out where Megan has been and why she disappeared from his life. Will Megan let Jasper back into her life? Will she be able to open her heart again to him?

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

I was craving for some pregnant by accident kind of story so this one fitted the bill nicely.
The fact that this was not a long story was perfect.
It’s a sweet, feel-good- all-around type of romance.
I gulped it down in one go.
It was very pleasant, with a subtle anti climax that one could enjoy over a cup of coffee.

Megan

Not only was she beautiful but one with brains, too.
So sexy on a woman.
Initially, I felt she was a bit detached, unfeeling. However, that feeling was diminished soon after.
After getting hurt by the man she thought she was starting to fall in love with, she flew back to her home town. Weeks later, she found out she was pregnant.
Hurt and angry, she decided to keep the baby all to herself.

Jasper

Chase was literally like a hotness on a silver platter; a Greek God.
A famous football player who got swooned by a beautiful blond girl.
After a 3 – day whirlwind romance, he decided that he had fallen in love with her.
But things got out of hand when his ex came back into the picture telling him she was pregnant.

Fast forward four years later, the couple met accidentally at a hotel. Unbeknownst to Jasper, he had a little son. Could he forgive Megan for taking away the first years of the chance to know his son?

Meghan and Jasper met by chance when he ran into her in the foyer of the hotel they are both staying. She told him off and when he saw her at the bar later that evening he approached her to apologise. Their was an instant attraction and the landed up in bed together. One night was not enough and their one night stand turned into a weekend together with promises of a future. But then she saw him with his ex girlfriend and took up and left, ignoring all his efforts to contact her and explain. Then, almost four years later, he ran into her and a little boy calling her Mommy. A little boy the spitting image of himself. Behind his shock and anger the attraction is still there. Will they take a chance on their future or will the past be too mucb to put behind them? But one thing is for certain - he will be part of his son's life. This is an insta kind of love story which is not normally my favourite trope but this one caught me. I love the author's writing style and sassy female character, an independant woman who can stand on her own feet.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Megan and Jasper meet when they literally bump into each other twice at the hotel they were staying at in los Angeles and they have words. Megan goes into the bar on the evening as she is there for work and bumps into Jasper and they have a drink together and things get a bit complicated from there. Jasper is a football player for The Patriots and he is in Los Angeles for a football game, when he sees Megan he can't help but see how beautiful she is and the best part is she doesn't know who he is. There connection and chemistry is so strong right from the beginning but will it work out for them as they live in different cities. Wow love this book so much with all it's twists and turns and it is so well written and has you turning the page's to see what will happen next and it was so addictive. This is the first book that I have read by Michelle Windsor but definitely not the last and I definitely recommend you read it and you will not be disappointed.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy of this book.

This book is such a winner.
A sheer JOY to read ,Michelle's writing is Excellent and completely drew me in right from the beginning and I did not stop loving it until the end.
The Romance between Jasper and Megan is such a whirlwind they instantly fall in love after a chance meeting in the lobby of the hotel in which they are both staying. Their chemistry is scorching hot and Jasper loves the fact that Megan has no clue that he is a famous NFL star. But as with all great love stories nothing ever goes smoothly and misunderstandings and miscommunication tears them apart,Leaving more than just a few surprises to be discovered...can a love still survive after years apart? ...
Everything about this story gripped me,it was utter PERFECTION..It made me shed a few tears and smile so hard, and I want my own Jasper Chase in my life,I was in Romance heaven.
An INCREDIBLE story that I LOVED to pieces.
5 Superb Stars
Michelle Windsor has Excelled herself
AMAZING !!

absolutely love it when a book captures me to the point where I just cannot put it down. I picked up this book and read it just a few hours. I was instantly hooked by the chemistry between Megan and Jasper. They formed an Insta connection that you can feel deep down in your soul. They were times where I wanted to reach into the pages and slap them for just being naïve and stupid. There were other times that I just wanted to jump up and down so happy that they’re going for what their hearts wanted opinions be damned. I shed happy tears when he met his little boy. This book gave me every feel I could possibly imagine. Once again Michelle Windsor blows me away with how amazing her writing is. The depth of her characters and the great word building in her books makes me want to keep going back for more. So happy I read this. I cannot wait for her next book to be released.

This is the first book I've ever read by Michelle Windsor, and I was so impressed by this beautifully written story. I loved Jasper and Megan together. Their chemistry was off the charts! They had such a special connection. The only semi-negative thing I can say is that the chapters weren't titled with either Jasper or Megan's name, depending on whose POV it was, so I had to actually read a couple sentences of each chapter, although it seemed to go back and forth between them, so it wasn't too hard to figure out. Michelle just gained a new reader. I will definitely be reading more of her books. Needless to say, this book is definitely recommended!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have to admit I was disappointed. Michelle Windsor is a wonderful writer and I just adored Love Notes and the emotions it brought out in me. But in Catching Chase, I just couldn't get invested in the two main characters of Jasper, a pro football player and Megan, a business woman. The first third of this book is just plain lust and very descriptive sex. It felt more erotic than sexy to me, and a little bit overdone. Will these two ever work through their bad choices? IMO, Ms. Windsor missed an opportunity to give the reader more of the story of Megan's journey as a single mother and also a relationship between Jasper and his new found son. Not to take anything away from this author's writing talent, but I truly missed the romance!
