Greatest literature on the planet? No. But if you're looking for a good erotic romance, a bit naughtier than the standard fare, but well-written and with an actual, interesting plot, this one is for you. 5 stars, because in this given genre, it stands out.

Think of that best-pals group from high school. The football star, the smart student leader, and the shy girl. Inseparable. Then imagine she stays in their small town after high school, marries some jerk. The guys go off to the same college, are roommates... and senior year finally act on their mutual attraction. It's a love match.

10 years later, high school reunion looms. She is on the reunion committee and finds Alex and Chase again. Finds out they're a couple... for 7 years... but both consider themselves bi-sexual. There had been un-acted-upon chemistry between all of them years ago, but rather than wreck their happy little group, they all ignored it. She is single now. She's attracted to them both, but how could she choose? But what if she didn't have to? Because... both of them are attracted to her, and there is room in this relationship for one more.

Once was enough.

Ok read. Kind of simplistic, not very realistic, and in my opinion, the author was not true to her own narrative.

For instance, the lead character Jasmine was described as "shy", but was written as sexually forward and even aggressive. We never say once instance of her being even reticent, let alone shy. Same for one of the male characters, (either Chase or Alex - hard to remember since they were hardly distinguishable from each other) - described as somewhat shy, but not the case.

Which brings up another point - Chase and Alex were really hard to distinguish, which made identifying with these characters very difficult. For instance, we were told that Chase was one who liked to think through situations and analyze things, but we say little evidence of that. This book is a case of an author who 'tells' but doesn't 'show'. Another instance: We are told these two male characters are 'bi-sexual' but by their love and sex language, they really felt more 'gay' to me. Not saying that as a derogatory thing, but as another inconsistency.

Her writing isn't bad, though her dialogue is a little immature, and the plot pretty shallow. Multiple sex scenes isn't enough to sustain my interest. I am certainly interested in the development of menage relationships - fascinated, actually, but there has to be a plot, dialogue, and character development to sustain my interest. My advice would be that it is a better thing to develop a character by showing the audience their personality traits through their dialogue and actions rather than trying to tell us who they are. Ultimately, 'telling' doesn't work, unless your 'showing' is extremely consistent to the 'telling'.

I wish this author luck, but this book goes into my 'once is enough' file.

The two things I liked best about this were (a) I liked all 3 of the characters & (b) I liked that the men were an established couple rather than it being m/f with the extra male coming into their mix. The trouble with this one is it's ordinary, nothing spectacular stands out or sets it apart from others in this genre.

Ethan, Alex, & Jasmine were all close friends in high school, all attracted to each other enough that both guys asked out Jasmine at different times but she never accepted for fear of losing their friendship & because she didn't want to choose between the two. Eventually these obstacles pulled the three apart & they've lost touch over the past 10 yrs. Reunion time rolls around & she's on the committee. They pick up right where they left off 10 yrs ago & the guys invite her to come spend the weekend with them. And then… they come full circle. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book; I confess that I read it in one sitting. I loved Chase and Alex, and of course, Jasmine! They fit together well in the steamy scenes that were in the book (several, I might add). It was nice, though. It wasn't all about the sex. The plot was plausible and kept you interested. I really wish the author would write a second book to let us know how things are progressing with the triad.

I loved it and couldn't put it down. It had romance but yet steamy sex scenes. Alex and Chase had a perfect give and take relationship, but it needed a womans' touch. Jasmine fit perfectly with them. It had an plot that was easy to follow but kept you on the edge of your seat. The banter between the characters made them very realistic. Liz Andrews is a great author. This book is worth every penny.

I found this book just wasn't able to grab or hold my interest. I liked the plot, I didn't like the writing. I found nothing emotionally stirring. There was descriptives of emotions and interactions and relationships, but no feeling to go with it. I ended up just feeling nothing for anyone, even though the characters were all interesting enough. I did get 50% in before I finally just called it quits.

Romance isn't generally my thing, but I do love hot, steamy sex. This book was a nice blend of the two. Oh, and did I mention the hot, steamy sex scenes? It's not a great literary work, but it was easy to get into fun to read. I'd recommend it, but not for the easily offended or faint of heart.

$3.69 on Nook

Menage books usually don't do it for me, but I really liked the prequel to this book, Best of Both Worlds, and wanted to see what happens with Chase and Alex.

I thought the story was great! Loved that they had history together. I loved Alex and Chase.
