We have to say that we really enjoyed this one, it was full of intrigue and suspense and a lot of hot sexiness. The chemistry between the characters was simply amazing, loved Casson, Rodrigo and Giada together.

Giada what an amazing woman, she definitely made me laugh more than a few times and loved that she is a romantic at heart and fierce and brave woman all on her own. A panty melting read. This was a read with a couple of new authors for us, and I have to say that we loved our first read from them and can't wait to drive into more of their novels.

Overall a page turner for us, it was different in some way than most of the other Mafia Romances I have read, and we absolutely loved it. I thought the characters were amazing and some will not be forgotten.

To be honest I am going to have a really hard time doing one of my standard reviews on this book without giving away a lot of the plot and the twists… so I will just share my thoughts on the book and hope it persuades you to read it too!

This is the latest story in the Masters' Admiralty spin-off series which began with the Trinity Master’s series a long time ago and I have loved every single story in both series, even as they broke my heart and had my in tears again and again as the lover had to go through serious trauma before finding their HEAs. This newest story between Rodrigo, Giada, and Casson is no less heart wrenching and I almost lost hope that they were going to have their happy ending to be perfectly honest. Rodrigo is trying his best to bring down the bastard he has discovered is his biological father, a mafia don of the worst level, when he is forced into an engagement with the daughter of another mafia don. Little does he know that Giada is way more than she seems and is about to totally rock his world and change his perspective on everything in his life. Then Casson crashes into both their lives and together the three of them are forced into a dangerous and deadly game with the mafic leaders and find themselves quickly falling into a relationship that is more than simple lust. I loved Giada’s character, she was so complex, brave, strong, and sassy and definitely the perfect match for her men; her intelligence and unwillingness to ever let anyone truly treat her as less showed that she was never meant to be just a piece of arm candy like most “mafia princess” stereotypes. Rodrigo is definitely the quintessential tortured prodigal son, but instead of returning home to join the fold, he’s returning to bring down the dirty bastard that just happens to be his sperm-donor. He is determined to do everything in his power to right the worst of the evil perpetrated by his father, even if is means going rogue. I loved seeing him finally finding solace and peace when he started to trust Giada and Casson. When they were apart seeing the other side of his personality was a true revelation and I loved all the facets of his character and seeing how deep and loving he was with his lovers. Casson was an enigma for sure, leaving us guessing a bit here and there if his “feelings” for his lovers were just part of his cover, being such a professional in maintain his character undercover, but we slowly begin to see that Giada and Rodrigo were more than he ever expected and pulled out the true Casson, leaving him floundering in his task more than once. The ending of this story was very unexpected but I loved that they finally had a chance to enjoy their much deserved love and HEA. Fair warning to long time readers, there are a few moment between our favorite Fleet and Vice admiral that are going to tear your heart out and the epilogue of this one if definitely going to leave us screaming and salivating for the next book in the joint Trinity Masters/Master’s Admiralty series. Once again our evil Queens are leaving us in terribly painful suspense!

This is the first book I have read in the Masters' Admiralty Series or the Mafia Series and this book can truly be read as a standalone, there is enough information within the book that explains the complexities of the Masters' Admiralty Society that you do get a clear picture of what they stand for and how they work.

In this story we have Rodrigo Capello who is currently working for his father the Don as his second in command, but the truth of it all is that Rodrigo is part of the Master's Admiralty and is really looking for information. While he is gaining his father's trust his father agrees to an arranged marriage between Rodrigo and Giada Russo, the niece of the Don of the Russo Family.

Casson who is also part of the Masters' Admiralty is sent to pull Rodrigo out of his Undercover Mission but once he's there he falls under the spell of Rodrigo and Giada as well and the three of them make some amazing chemistry together.

This story is not your typical organized crime story, there are so many different things going on and yes there are bad guys, because aren't there always, but it's the good guys that overshadow any of the bad. You aren't falling for the antihero in this book you are falling for the Hero....times two.

I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY Romantic Suspense Reads, Triad Romances, Organized Crime Romances, or Badass Women in their Romances.

Happy Reading!!!

Read an #excerpt here ➡ https://bit.ly/NBReviewDH9

**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books
You can find me here: https://linktr.ee/NadineBookaholic

Can love be built on a foundation of lies?

Rodrigo and Casson are undercover, different missions but they must work together. They find they work together best when working on Giada, her pleasure, their pleasure, her passion, their fantasies…but it is dangerous to get too lost in their love and forget the original mission.
Rodrigo loses everything, his identity, his life, his heart….
Casson loses his focus, his control and his heart…
But Giada, she loses her soul.
A dark, dirty and menacing addition to the series, there are times you question the Master's Admiralty's actions as they rip multiple lives apart.

I think is my favourite Master’s Admiralty and although Rodrigo, Casson and Giada may have come together under unusual circumstances and that not everyone was honest about who they were, there was no denying the immediate emotions and physical attraction they felt one for the other. There are some very hot scenes in this book. I have read all the books in this series but it is enjoyable as a standalone and there are great explanations about the organization and the people who are part of it. The teaser at the end was intriguing but what I really want resolved is Nikolett and Edgar, they both deserve some happiness. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
That was, that beginning, that ending, it was amazing!!! There were a lot of emotions in this book. It was steeped with a heavy weight, the untruths, the subterfuge, the loss, and the pain. There were little moments that gave relief, but all our characters are going through a lot. Our trio have all of this going on, but they still love, they cherish their moments together, they form a bond. When it is all ripped away, they carry on, not quite whole, but doing what they think it right. And just when you think this is it, the emotions will overflow, we get the comic relief we so desperately need. Of course our trio have their way, they were soul mates after all, and they will carry on with each other, fighting the good fight. Some of our other characters, maybe not so much, and with that epilogue, wow, way to have us asking for more ASAP!

Great chemistry, and suspense right out of the gate! The physical chemistry, between the ménage, just sparked and then the intense storyline...this was a great story!

Rodrigo was immersed in his father's world, a world that twisted his gut and repulsed him daily, but he also knew he was the only one to get close enough to eventually shut it down. However, because he was undercover, his contacts on the outside didn't know if he'd turned and because of that the MA send in Casson to pull him out.

When Casson gets there and he hears Rodrigo's side he stays, as Casson's bodyguard, meeting his newly arranged fiancée - Giada, and it didn't take long for these three to practically light my kindle on fire.

Working together, was heaven, but also torture, because both Casson and Rodrigo were keeping a lot of secrets from one another. While they were all developing feelings and really wished they'd have a happy ending, the only ending was without the woman they both wanted.

A truly exciting and, at times, heartbreaking addition to the Master's Admiralty series. I loved how spirited Giada was. She never backed down and owned her powerful thinking and determination while living in a male dominated world. A perfect woman for Rodrigo and Casson.

Danger's Heir is the third book of Trinity Masters: The Mafia. This series really does need to be read in order. Much of this story builds on the last two.

Rodrigo is still deep undercover as the actual blood son of a Mafia Don of The Camorra in the Capellos family. In previous books he has worked himself from an unknown son hidden from his father to the second in command. He is in so deep that it is a constant balance between life and death. He has done things no decent person can justify. He wants most to end the human trafficking his family does for sex, labor and scientists for laboratory drug manufacturing. He is sure he is very close to getting his Dad to tell him all about the trafficking ring when Casson is sent in to extract Rodrigo and return him back to the Masters' Admiralty. Things keep getting harder and messier as Rodrigo's Don and Father announces his engagement to Giada Russo, another Don's niece and heir apparent to unite their powerful families.

Due to lies told to protect their identity, Giada believes Rodrigo and Casson to be former lovers. Over some forced time together, they form a bond as a triad. Then everything blows apart and needs to be restructured again with none of the three of them having the comfort of each other. This story is a major page turner with changes happening non-stop. Enjoy reading all the excitement and how the conclusion resolves itself.

Rodrigo has found a new purpose. Too bad it isn't sanctioned. Casson has a job to do. Too bad it gets changed. Giada has a fiance to bamboozle. Too bad he's smarter than his farther. Can three people with trust issues meld differing agendas?
Danger's Heir is third in Trinity Masters: The Mafia trilogy. It can be read as a stand alone but you will catch the nuances having read the other stories in the trilogy.
I enjoyed meeting Giada and Casson. I loved how they strengthened Rodrigo even as they built a relationship found on half truths and lies. I love that inspite of the faulty foundation love still blossomed. I loved seeing Casson find himself. I loved seeing Giada trust someone other than herself. I loved seeing Rodrigo accept all that he is. But will they survive the society and its rules? The tale woven by Ms. Carr and Ms. Dubois allowed us to see three individuals find a way to make a whole inspite of their beginning. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing love find a way and look forward to where they will take us next.
