Favorite Quotes:

She was six, he was eight and Eva had conned him into being the groom for their pretend wedding game. And ever since then, she’d been hooked. On Spencer, not playing dress up.

“You know… while that was a cardio workout, I don’t think it can count as a good substitution for my class… But if we’re going to compete with Zumba, then we’d need to try… harder…”And hours later, Penny was fairly certain they had done the equivalent of two Zumba classes.

I seriously think we need to just come to grips with the fact that this is our thing… We talk a good game about being the type of people who enjoy going out to fancy restaurants, but at the end of the day, there is just something about being comfortable on the couch and eating some lo mein.

My Review:

Another sweet second-chance romance from Samantha Chase, I just adore her! I have enjoyed all the books in this series, but who wouldn’t? The book was short, sweet, and easy to follow. The writing was entertaining, the characters were lovable, and the storyline was well balanced with steam, humor, and quiet tension. Sigh, I have missed this group.
While I love second chance romances, I’m not a fan of people who reunite only to rehash the reason they broke up over and over and over. The hurt feelings and anger were severe yet they couldn’t keep their hands off of one another and I’m sorry but if you truly are upset with that person, why would you want to be intimate with them?

Penny Blake loves her job at Enchanted Bridal and has aspirations of opening her own salon as part of the wedding mall. The last person she expects to see at one of their bridal fashion shows is Spencer Buchanan the man who broke her heart and her spirit repeatedly and even though she is happy to reconnect with his sister, Eva, who use to be a good friend seeing Spence rattles her.

Ten years have gone by since Penny and Spencer last saw one another and while the attraction between them is still there, Penny is still reeling from the way Spencer’s words have affected her whole life. Spencer is kind of a nerdy jerk who apparently made comments to Penny for years that made her feel like she was less than despite having a large family who loved her and good friends she decided to let this one boy’s words make her doubt her self worth. I’ve said it time and time again, at some point you have to either let it go or get some help and deal with it. There was just something missing from their renewed courtship, they weren’t completely honest with each other and seemed to be working their own agenda and I didn’t feel their connection that they claimed was so strong.

I did appreciate that Spencer made a grand gesture to show Penny that he believed in her and wanted the best for her, but overall I was disappointed in this story.

Penny Blake loves her job at Enchanted Bridal. She has a plan to open a shop at the Enchanted Bridal Mall and do hair and make-up for the bridal parties. What she doesn't plan on is seeing her ex-boyfriend. Spencer Buchanan is with his sister who is looking for a wedding dress. When he spots Penny, he remembers their time together and wants her back. But can he convince Penny to take another chance on him?

This is the last book in Samantha Chase's Enchanted Bridal series. Penny and Spencer have had an on-again, off-again relationship since they were kids. They are trying it again, wondering if they can now make a long-distance relationship work. This was a quick read. Many of the past characters from the series are part of this book. This is a typical contemporary romance with no surprises, but I did like the way the author resolved the long-distance issue. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
Glam Squad & Groomsmen
Enchanted Bridal #4
Samantha Chase
?????

This is my favourite in all the Wedding Season stories. Penny is so sweet and Spencer is all sorts of hot. Their history is told in a beautiful way by Samantha, making me fall in love with them from that 1st meeting. When I 1st read the blurb for this book, I was imagining huge drama and Bad history but what I got was a heart-warming story of love lost through misunderstanding and that 2nd chance.

As a staff member of Enchanted Bridal, Penny Blake spends her time with bride's, modelling in the runway shows and building a business plan to out to the owners. She has everything planned, but a quick glimpse at the audience and her past just slaps her in the face. There seated is ex boyfriend Spencer 3his sister, who happened to Penny's best friend until.. well her while life fell apart. That one night will change everything for Penny. Not only has Spencer grown into a gorgeous man, all lean muscle and sexy glasses. The butterflies and feelings she carried all those years resurface in a matter of minutes.

Spencer Buchanan is an in demand architect, he’s great at his job, he adores his family but will never forgive himself for the way he treated Penny. As school sweethearts that were broken up not once but Twice and he's about to be given another chance with Penny. Moving forward will open old wounds while creating new memories. It's obvious all of those old feelings are very much still there, but with different wants in life, living in different cities, there is one thing they both agree on. Life apart hurts way more than taking risks with their future.

Come on journey of love, laughter, rekindling, beautiful highs and devastating lows. Spencer and Penny will see and feel it all – along with you as the reader. Along with their families and friends these two will make the ultimate decision to move forward. This book really is an all in story for the reader. I adored every bit of it ?

Sweet Romance

Penny and Spencer have a long history that seems to keep repeating itself. They have a chemistry that burns bright whenever they see each other but that seems to be dimmed by Spencer’s flippant views on all the ways he and Penny won’t work and the careless ways he shares those opinions with her. But they were just kids then and Spencer is ready for more but Penny isn’t convinced and, once again, there are obstacles that they just might be able to overcome to finally get there HEA.

This was a sweet second (or fourth) chance romance. It’s pretty low on drama/angst which makes it a great feel-good romance that you’ll want to curl up with on a lazy afternoon/evening.
5 Star Review of Glam Squad & Groomsmen (Enchanted Bridal #4) by Samantha Chase
I loved this book from start to finish and couldn’t put it down.
Penny Blake suddenly comes face to face with her ex, Spencer Buchanan, (the one who got away) whilst modelling a wedding gown. Can it get any more cringe worthy than that?
Penny loves her job and has plans to take it to the next level with her own business and the last thing she needs is a blast from the past in the form of Spencer, even worse she realises that she still has deep feelings for him.
Spencer has been dragged along to help his sister and the last person he expects to see is Penny, the woman who has held his heart and gotten away 3 times before.

It was great to catch up with the other characters although Penny and Spencer really stole the show. There was just something about these two that is meant to be. I love a second chance at love story and this one was an excellent read.
It was refreshing to find a character who could admit to mistakes, all the while trying to ensure he did not make them again. I fully admit that I have a bit of a crush on Spencer.
The chemistry between Spencer and Penny is still there and it is obvious that their feelings for one another have never really disappeared. Will they take yet another chance to see where this could lead? Or will the past prevent them from creating a future?
Spencer is at a crossroads in his professional life, being pushed to return home and take over his father’s business. But is that what he truly wants?
This book had me laughing, sighing and at times fearful that the past would destroy what could be a beautiful future for Spencer and Penny.
One click now and take an emotional journey with Glam Squad & Groomsmen, I doubt you will be disappointed.
Another 5 Star read from Samantha Chase! Glam Squad & Groomsmen (Enchanted Bridal #4) is book 4 in the series, but is a complete standalone.

I ADORED Penny and Spencer’s characters! I'm a sucker for a second chance romance, and boy these two finally get it after years apart.

This book was sweet, sexy, and had the perfect amount of drama to keep me entertained, and glued to my kindle.

Another PHENOMENAL read from the fantastic Samantha Chase. I definitely need to read the other books in this series asap!

*I voluntarily read an advance copy from the author. This is my honest review.*

Sometimes it doesn't take much to make Spencer's day, “I wasn’t planning on anything spectacular,” she blurted out. “Just some Chinese takeout if… if you’d like to join me.” The look of pure pleasure on his face..." The man is always assuring Penny, "Spencer hugged her closer and gave her a loud, smacking kiss. “I don’t think you have to worry. Our romp in the dressing room was full of cardio.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Spencer.
