Introduction:
Jamie Bennett knew that warrior angel Ambrose Griffin was hers from the moment she learned that the things that go bump in the night are real. She, along with her friends, was forever changed the night the lightning struck and altered her fate. But what she doesn’t know is that while Ambrose might be hers, she’s missing someone else. Ambrose always holds himself back because he can’t afford to lose anyone else. He’s lived and lost lifetimes over as he’s fought for his people, and though he knows that Jamie could be his if he takes that risk, there’s something missing. Or, more accurately, someone. When Jamie is kidnapped and sent to hell, Ambrose will not only risk a war between the realms to find her, he’ll find his heart in the process—in Jamie and Bailin. When Bailin, a demon from hell, meets the two people who could fill his heart and his soul, he’ll need to fight for something he hasn’t felt in over a century—hope.

Angels and Demons!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ???
Heat/Steam: ????
Story/Plot: ???
World building: ???
Character development: ????
Narration: ???
Narration Type: Solo Narration

The Heroes: Ambrose & Bailin - Ambrose is a warrior angel who works for the council to punish supernaturals who break the law (basically letting out that supernaturals exist). Ambrose was best friends/brothers with Shade from Dust of My Wings. He has lost too many people in his long life and refuses to fall in love and possibly lose more. Bailin is a demon from Hell who had forsaken his oath and refused to take souls into the hell realm. His father, Pyro, the king of the demons was waiting for him to die because he was afraid Bailin would free the slaves and gladiators if left to his own devices.

The heroine: Jamie - Jamie is friends with Lily from the first book and like her, Jamie was hit by the freak lightning storm that hit the bar, Dante’s Circle. Because of Lily, Jamie knows that if she finds her true half like Lily and Shade, she might become a supernatural. She knew from the first time she saw Ambrose that he was her true half. Though he acted like she didn’t exist.

The Story: Ambrose lost a family in the past and couldn’t go through that again, though he knew he was attracted to Jamie, so he was determined to find a man for her that could be her true half and awaken the supernatural inside her. Little did he know, that Pyro had it out for him because Ambrose had scarred Pyro in the war and he noticed Ambrose had an interest in Jamie. So he kidnapped Jamie and brought her to hell.

The story was good and a bit different than any other story I have read before. Jamie is a pretty strong female lead character and the whole story about the “true half” (a.k.a. fated mates) was interesting, especially since there are two men that feel they are the true half to Jamie.

The book is told in multiple points of view via solo narration and was narrated by Gregory Salinas. I like his voice and he puts a lot of emotion into his narration. Though I do like to have more narrators when there are three main characters. It is sometimes hard to tell who is talking. It didn’t help that some of the dialog was a bit corny. Like “she’d have to get the hell out of, well..Hell. She would have to think about another curse at some point.”

Also there were a bunch of different covers for this book, but only one cover for the audio version and it is one of my pet peeves when the characters on the cover don’t match the description in the book. Ambrose is described as having white wings and long white hair, yet the cover pictures two men, both with short dark hair.

Blog|Goodreads|Facebook|Instagram|Twitter|BookBub

What if you had turned on ABC The Family Channel and found Cinemax Late Night R/X rated porn playing? That is basically what happens in this book.

I have no problem with authors writing gay romance, or with anyone reading it if they wish. I DO have a problem with an author pretty much sticking it into a series that is supposed to be about 7 women finding their "other half". I found it dishonest and totally disrespecting her readers.

Let me be clear, this is a series with an amazing premise, the first book was excellent and other than seemingly borderline erotic it had a very good story (as does this book I should mention). I scanned huge portions of this book not only due to the "triad" which held absolutely no interest for me but for large portions that seemed to have no real purpose other than to make this book many pages longer than it needed to be to tell the story.

I plan to read the rest of this series since I am invested in the characters but this book shows me that the author cannot be trusted to adhere to the impressions of the characters that she has already established since Ambrose was pretty much alpha male in the last book and suddenly feels like going at it with man or woman is just kewl.

I did finish it mainly because I will move on to the next book but if this is supposed to be a gay series it should be labeled as such so the target audience will know what to look for or to avoid as the case may be.

Hopefully, the next book will adhere to the premise of the series and not be a testing ground for the author to try out her writing talents in alternate lifestyles. I would hate to drop the series but paying full price for a book where you skip 30% of the book seems a waste since there are many more books to be read that respect their readers a bit more.

Bottom Line: Good story, surprise gay sex (please nobody try to tell me that the last minute addition of 2 lines to the bottom of the synopsis makes this ok). Sex of any kind aside, pages and pages of filler where nothing of any value is added other than just pages and pages. 2 Stars, would only be 3 Stars I fear without the sexual surprises.

Before I read a book, I like to read the synopsis, it gets me hyped up about the book. I do this before I watch a movie too, I'll go online and watch the trailer. I know I'm weird. So after reading the synopsis and seeing the cover of this book AND having read one of Carrie Ann's "triads" before in another series that left my heart racing and opened me up to a few new things in the world of romance, I was itching to start Book 2 in her Dante's Circle Series knowing we were going to have a triad.

Her Warriors Three Wishes exceeded my expectations. I love this story.

Jaimie, Ambrose, and Bailin are the perfect triad. They complete each other, which shows Carrie Ann's talent for character development. These characters on their own are amazing, well developed and intriguing but together they are a force to be reckoned with. I love how Jaimie stands strong no matter what she's facing and in this story she faces a lot. As a reader you can't blame Ambrose for his fear and your heart aches for Bailin. Knowing that they will face all the odds and face them together makes this an amazing love story.

On the heat meter I give it a 10!!! I have read M/M before and I love how tasteful Carrie Ann writes it and how as the reader you are not turned off by the chemistry and love between our Alphas, and with Jaimie in the middle of this alpha sandwich the heat just keeps rising.

The world of the Dante's Circle just keeps getting better and deeper. I was very happy with the growth of Carrie Ann's writing from book 1 to this book. Again I know what depths Carrie Ann can take a series to and I can see how deep she will go with this series.

I am a huge fan of Carrie Ann and her work, I happily give Her Warriors Three Wishes, Book 2 in the Dante's Circle Series, 5 out of 5! I think Carrie Ann has a niche for triads and I am happy that there was one in this series and I hope for more.
This story just didn't do it for me. There was so much repetition and lacked too many things as well. The characters were not fully developed, I don't understand Balin's decision to not take souls in a realm where it is necessary to survive, actually his whole back story leaves me with more questions than answers. The "triad" didn't seem to have any chemistry. I got tired of all whining and repetitive reassurance that they weren't alone anymore.

All of their climatic situations were resolved way to quick and easy. I think they got out of hell way to easy after the "big fight" they just walked out. The huge storm and all Jamie's enemies were taken care of in a matter of minutes. Not to mention all 3 of her wishes are gone...so what does that mean for her is she powerless now? I don't know just to many questions for me.

The sex was not my thing and I ended up skimming or down right skipping it. I like M/F/M menage and I apparently didn't do enough research before starting this because that combo was what I thought I was going to get. M/M does nothing for me unfortunately because a lot of people seem to like reading it.

So in my opinion the writing didn't flow smoothly, there was too much repetition, there was too much internal dialog that left me bored, and there wasn't the feeling that these people belonged together, it felt forced.
The second book of the Dante’s Circle is a wild adventure of intrigue, action, romance and a hot triad.

Jamie is one of the human females struck by lightning and as she is awaiting her destiny, she is abducted by a demon that has a grudge against the warrior angel, Ambrose. Balin is the son of the demon that has brought Jamie to hell and he is dying because he refuses to take human souls. Ambrose has to get to hell to save them both, because they both are his true-halves. And then the Djinn become involved and they want Jamie out of the picture.

The plot is fast paced with lots of action and suspense that flows smoothly with the romance between the three. The author kept everything balanced and conveyed all the emotional turmoil that each character felt with such accuracy that the reader is drawn into the drama. Each scene of battle and friendship and romance was painted in vivid clarity making it easy for the reader to picture the entire book.

The characters are strong and believable and portrayed in such a way that they come to life, connecting the reader to this entertaining and engaging read. This story continues the series with its refreshingly unique world of the supernatural, with more surprising twists throughout the book. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.
I couldn't wait for Ambrose's story. That "stick up his butt" angel really needed to find love.
He closed off his heart and turned away from Jamie. Thinking he wasn't "deserving" of a new mate. But when Jamie is kidnapped and Balin is added to the mix, he can't deny his destiny or his fate any more. And he finds he doesn't want too.
The addition of Balin really made this story for me. I loved that big old demon! He is so sweet. I know, sweet and demon don't seem to go together, but for Balin, it fits. That demon really deserved some happiness.
I loved watching Ambrose loosen up and except what he'd been missing all his life.
And poor Jamie! She has the most to overcome. How does a good, christian girl accept that she is mated to not one, but two crazy supernaturals? But, Jamie finds her inner strength and grows into a fierce champion or her own happiness.
Her Warriors Three Wishes is a thrill ride not to miss.

I'm really enjoying this series, I couldn't put this book down. The characters are interesting and a bit intriguing, I'm enjoying learning more about them. I like how the author is bring in different types of supernatural characters to the story, it's a nice surprise to discover. I look forward to reading more of this series, the author has left me wanting more.

I received a copy of this story from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

Highly entertaining, magical, exciting, action packed and sexy paranormal triad romance. Perfect for a late night cuddle before bedtime creating some sweet dreams reading.

Ambrose Griffin the oldest and strongest angel warrior and all around alpha male bad-ass. Jamie Bennett sweetly sexy, charming best friend of Lilly from book 1 and bookstore owner. Balin Drake sexy hot demon with a heart slowly fading from refusing to consume innocent souls. They try to resist each for different reasons but ultimately realize they need each other for many reasons including survival. Loved every heart pounding emotional twist and turn.

This book was better than the first one for me. It started out with a lot of action but also a lot of angst with regards to the angel. It was an interesting triad book that is definitely not for the prudish among us. If you’re looking for something spicy in your reading list then this is the book for you. And it has a good storyline so total win-win
