***ARC received by the author for an honest review.***

Firstly I'd like to thank the author for giving me a chance to review this book.
Honestly, I was a bit hesitant before starting this story since I'm not a big fan of cross breed series. It's either complete vampires or shape shifters for me. But this story had me pleasantly surprised.

This is the story of Zoey and Markus. Zoey has been scorned in the worst way and she wants to forget it all and begin anew. That's when she meets Markus who has been harboring secrets of his own. The chemistry is fiery and the unexpected mating connection between them melts your heart.

It is filled with action, twists and is well written and easy to read through. I finished it in one sitting! Definitely recommended to fans of the paranormal.

I received the ARC for an honest review! This was an absolutely wonderful book, and I can’t wait to get my hands on more by this author! Markus was a fun, easy to read, enjoyable, “couldn’t put down”, book! The story is very well built, and well rounded. I enjoyed each of the characters, and I want to get to know more about them. Zoey and Markus’ story at times made me want to rush through the pages to see what would happen next, and by the time I knew it, the book was over! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I recommend it, 10/10 Ooh, and the intensity between Z&M? Outrageous. I don’t often read out of my comfort zone, but I do recommend this book to shake things up!

It's PNR romances with a touch of forbidden greatness.

We all know that shifters and vampires normally don't tend to mingle right?.

Well...

Zoey and Markus didn't quite get the memo on PNR romance do's and don't's.

What starts off as a pity party for one because Zoey's nursing a broken heart and bruised ego, turns into a whole lot more than she bargained for.

Let's just say Zoey and Markus's journey kicks off with a bang and really doesn't stop from that point. I mean we get some real personal deets early on and I was LIVING FOR THE FILTH.

Did someone say Jacobs ladder?..

The steam of it all.

I loved their journey. It was never going to be a easy road for them and they had many obstacles in their way to a HEA but I do love how their story unfolds.

As characters they are a full package. Easy to relate to, multidimensional and just all round, really likeable characters. The chemistry between them is absolute fire, and I love the connection that just grew in strength as their story progressed.

Everything just fits together seamlessly. The plot is intriguing and suspenseful which kept me locked in wanting and needing more. There was never a dull moment. I swooned, fumed and laughed my way through the story and honestly felt sad when it came to an end. It's got all the good feels with a dash of action and suspense with a touch of forbidden greatness just to keep things interesting. Also, the side characters have me all kinds of curious and I want more!!. LOVED IT.

As a whole it's just a really great PNR read and I'm so excited to see where this series goes because the first one certainly went off with a bang!.

SIGN ME UP! I want to go to this shifter place. M.A. had me right away from the first chapter. Poor Zoey is a tiger shifter. Markus is an ancient powerful Vampire. From her first notice she is attracted to Markus. There is a powerful connection between them. I love that about mates...even though they didn’t realizes mates right away they could not escape each other. Zoey’s confused because she thought she was going to mate someone but he cheated on her. This book gives you so much drama with Isabella (wicked B&&&&&). I honestly could not stop reading. This book drew me in with it’s writing, the characters and freaking steam up my IPAD sex. HOLY CRAP! And I am a huge sucker for mates. I love that this is a HEA and a standalone but you know you have to read more of the upcoming series...Those brothers of hers and Kane...some serious Alpha hotness. Ohh when Markus calls hi sister Nik..laughing out loud!

This is a book filled with action and steamy romance! The story of a shifter abandoned by her destined mate for her best friend, and a sexy vampire, not a welcomed relationship in their community. After their first meeting a vampire from his past attacks complicating things more. This is a story filled with emotions and steamy romance between shifter and vampire. The storyline is great and the characters well defined and interesting. If this is the first book in this new series I can't wait for the next one!

Really enjoyed this book. I fell for Markus and the way he was in this book was really good. This author has a way of making me become so invested in these characters that I think about them even after I am done. This book was no exception.

Zoey is a shifter who moves closer to her brothers after heartbreak. The first night she meets Markus who is a vampire the attraction is instantaneous but seemingly to be discouraged as shifters and vampires don't really get involved. Markus is then forced to save Zoey from a dangerous situation which pushes them both into facing the truth about their feelings and as it turns out that Markus has been suspecting that they are mates. This book has got a lot of steamy scenes and a HEA for this couple but does set you up for tangential characters who I presume will have books such as Zoey's brothers. This story has enough intrigue and plot twists to keep you entertained and the two main characters have great chemistry and you really want things to work out for them. I love the way this author structures her stories; she pulls you in from the first chapter and the plot and characters never disappoint. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal reads with HEA endings and hot alpha males.

This was my first by the author. I love paranormal so that’s right up my alley! This is the story of Zoey who’s had her heart crushed by the male she thought was her mate only to have him cheat on her by her supposedly best friend. That same best friend now flaunts the mating mark that Cody gave her and everything the woman does is petty towards Zoey and she can’t take it anymore and goes back home to escape the heartbreak and heal. She begins working for her brother and meets a very interesting very sexy vampire named Markus but regardless the two species don’t mix never have never will. So she can drool over him but never actually have him and that’s her burden to bear. However sometimes things happen that are unexpected and beyond ones control.
~~
Overall this read was engaging and had me from the first chapter. I loved seeing everything take shape and form. It’s definitely a page turner and Markus is all alpha, hot and smoldering. He protects those he cares about and makes the reader swoon.. Really looking forward to seeing what the author gives us next!
~~

This is the first book by this author that I’ve read. It was good. I liked that Zoey will fight for the one she loves.
I like that this book talks about prejudice and fighting against it. It’s prejudice against vampires and some shifters will not tolerate it.
There’s an instant pull and attraction between Markus and Zoey. But Zoey’s a shifter and Markus is a vampire and though he’s friends with Trex, Zoey’s brother, it’s something he warns her against. Trex doesn’t want her to get with Markus but nothing and no one can come between what they share.
It’s very descriptive but it works for this book. It helps you understand about the different shifters and vampires.
It’s very sexy and hot they eat Markus and Zoey go at each other. Of course it has a villain, who’s pure evil. I love what happens to the villain and who does it.
I love how the tiger in Zoey reacts to Markus.
I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. I would recommend it.
