This a good follow up to the authors first book, Radical Remission. It includes in-depth stories of many (20 plus) people who overcame terminal cancer, as well as a couple of other diseases (Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis). There are updates on recent research and an excellent bibliography.
This book would be an encouraging resource for someone with cancer who wants to take active and aggressive lifestyle changes to treat their disease. It is also an excellent resource for any health practitioner. I am a nutritionist and Turner’s two books helped me to realize the power of all of these lifestyle factors, not just diet, to prevent or reverse disease.

Radical Hope by Kelly Turner is both inspiring and helpful in practical ways. I actually listened to the audio version while riding my exercise bike throughout the month but I can't find the Audible version listed on Goodreads.

I thoroughly enjoyed the inspiring stories in each chapter. Many of them were stories about people who were surviving cancer, but other diseases such as multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimers were also featured.

I actually think everyone should listen to this book or read it. Maybe could all improve our lives and avoid some diseases before we even get them if we applied the principles in this book. Exercise, healthy diet, a healthy spiritual life, and supplements certainly can help many people, including me. However, what I really needed to focus on was healing from trauma and PTSD and building and maintaining healthier relationships after having moved several times. I am a work in progress and it does takes time. Everyone likely has different areas to work on. This book highlights how all aspects of our lives work together for our overall health and there are ten areas that help people with diseases become survivors.

Radical Hope was written in an interesting way with a mix of information and personal stories as well as guidance. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

inspiring and empowering

Overall, well written. I appreciate that non cancer diseases were covered, as well as a variety of types of cancer. I find some of the cited studies questionable but nonetheless feel there is enough evidence to support the need for all 10 factors.

I’ve read both Radical Remission and Radical Hope, and am incredibly grateful to Dr. Turner for her work and for sharing it in such as accessible way. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in the spring and had begun figuring out a healing path. While I had already started on some of the approaches (radical change in my diet, supplements, exercise, meditation), Dr. Turner’s book pulled it all together for me and made the path clearer and easier. After I’d read Radical Remission, I wondered if Radical Hope would offer enough different material to warrant the time to read it. It absolutely does! It adds a 10th healing factor (exercise), additional practical steps to support each healing factor and includes many inspiring stories. I appreciated the non-cancer cases too (MS and Alzheimer’s). Overall: very informative, well-written and inspiring!

This book is giving me new hope for my husband's cancer prognosis. A wonderful read to give you insight to alternatives to, or in conjunction with traditional cancer treatment.

Highly recommend, every reader will learn something in these pages. I didn’t read the first book Radical Remission, you don’t need to in order to follow this one.

I listened to this on Audible. It is encouraging. I highly recommend it!
I also recommend Kelly Turner's movie "The Food Cure", available on Hoopla.

So inspiring and really hopeful when we were feeling so crappy about the prognosis and our lack of control over it. This book is very empowering
