Rebel Angel by Vivian Wood is book two in her Sainted Sinners series and I enjoyed it as much as the first. If you have not yet read Dirty Angel (book one) I very much recommend.

Rebel Angel is well-written (detailed and I love the world she created), fast-paced and filled with action. The story focuses on Aurora Vincent, who is been on the run and hiding since her family was murdered by demons. Determined to avenge her family's deaths, she plans to go after the evil that took their lives. However, she won't be going alone. She'll have her 'guardian angel' with her, whether she wants him or not.

Ezra Prieur is a fallen angel sent by a neutral party (neither heaven or hell) to protect Aurora, which a reluctant Aurora agrees to when he promises to help her get her revenge.

I loved these characters and the how well the story moved. Aurora and Ezra have amazing chemistry and add the fact that we get to see Vesper and Kirael again was a big plus for me.

Overall, I very much recommend reading Rebel Angel and I can't wait to read the next book by Ms. Wood.

This book was just "ok" for me. Nothing to special that made me want to keep turning the page. You can pretty much predict everything that is going to happen after the 1st few chapters.

Vivian Wood is an amazing paranormal romance author. She knows how to take a story line and make it an amazing story with awesome characters. She can make you laugh, cry, want sex (), scream, want to fight and whoop ass. There are always emotions to feel when reading one of her books. She can take a book and grab your attention from the beginning of the book to the end of the book. She has a hero and heroine, as well as well as extremely well written secondary characters. Characters that make the story line work and makes you want to read more. The author also describes the city and the garden at the safe house so that you can actually picture being there. The gardens at the safe house are described so beautifully you want to go there with EZRA. Before you know it you have finished the book. I never really thought about reading about fallen angels till she asked me to read Dirty Angel. I recommend this book to mature readers over the age of 18 because of the violence and the explicit sex scenes. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Aurora Vincent came from a family of nulls (being that can tip the balance of good and evil). She and he family had to constantly be on the run to hid from both sides wanting them to side with them. She was the only left out of entire family. They had all been murdered by demons, and now these same forces are after Aurora because they need her soul. Aurora has had enough and she is bound and determined that she is going to avenge her mom and brother’s deaths. She is going after the evil that has killed them and make them pay for what they did. Little did Aurora know was that Vesper was seeing a Sainted Angel and she had brought not only Kirael, but they had another Angel with them, Ezra. Aurora was so scared she started packing to move again. Vesper and Kirael talked her into letting Ezra protect her.

Ezra Prieur is a Fallen Angel and actually a defector from Heaven and Hell. He is described in the book what they call a Sainted Sinner, who has given the task of protecting Aurora by Le Medicin (the neutral party between good and evil). So now he is her official guardian. Ezra is to protect her at all costs and he is see to it that she knows the choice she has to make. Ezra had to do might fancy talking to get Aurora to trust him since she says it was an Angel that killed her mother. He makes her promise to do as he says and let him protect her and he would help her to get revenge for her mother and brother. As her guardian there are rules that he has to up hold but he would break them in a heartbeat after getting a look at her fiery red hair but with her curves and red hair how can resist her.
Aurora and Ezra are running from and fighting demons and angels from all sides. This is a fight not just for their lives, but for the lives of humankind. They also have to fight like HELL for each other as well.

No spoilers. A definite must read. You sure do not want to miss out on this amazing book. ARC free book given in exchange for an honest review.
Rebel Angel by Vivian Wood is the second book in the Sainted Sinners series. It's Aurora Vincent's story. She is Vesper Emery's roommate form the first Sainted Sinners book. It is a stand-alone book that connects with other books in the series through some shared characters and has an HEA with no cliffhangers. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I've already bought some of her other books and can't wait to get started on reading them. It's not necessary to read the other book in this series first or even at all but I would definitely recommend doing that, especially since Aurora does appear in it, as well as other characters you will encounter in this book. I would also recommend this book to fans of romance series, especially ones interested in bad boy and supernatural romances.

Synopsis:

Aurora Vincent is a Null, this means magic won't work around her. Her whole family were Nulls. Unfortunately this brought them to the attention of the agents of Heaven and Hell. Both sides want to posses them, or failing that, prevent the other side from having them. As if that's not bad enough, there's a prophecy that says one of the Vincent's will sway the outcome of the war between Heaven and Hell that's been going on for millennia. Aurora's been on the run ever since her mother and brother were murdered by agents from both sides. She's been in hiding waiting for her chance at revenge on both the Angels and Demons. Then she meets Ezra, a hot Fallen Angel that claims to just want to protect her. Chaos ensues.

I received a copy of this from the author in change for an honest review.

I received this for a honest review. If you have already read Dirty Angel then you will know some of the characters, but don’t worry this is a standalone.

Aurora Vincent was pretty much the last of her kind. She was a Null. Both heaven and hell wanted her and were willing to kill her if she did not chose their side. Here she was heartbroken over her brother who was killed by a demon and the death of her mother who was killed by an angel. Aurora had plan to free her mother and brother’s spirit and get revenge for their death.

I can only imagine the shock to find out the guy that her roommate is seeing was a fallen angel. Then to top that off to find out that they knew what she was. Aurora went into panic mold. She knew she must run to save herself.

Ezra who was a fallen angel/destroyer was there to help protect Aurora. The problem they were having was Aurora was not trusting them because they were fallen angels. She felt if they were given the chance they would turn her over to the enemy or kill her.

There is a connection between Aurora and Ezra. The pull is undeniable. I loved reading the sexual tension between these two. Ezra knows it is important to gain Aurora’s trust if he has plan protecting her. He knows he must get to the truth of her mother and brother’s death. To protect her and gain that trust he finds that he will need to help her with her revenge.

This book will have love and pain. It shows that grief can heal and love can bloom. Such a great story.

we learned about aurora in the previous book and also learned she's in danger. now that vesper and kirael are together, they're keeping an eye on her without aurora really knowing. when word is going around they're close to finding aurora, vesper see now other way as to confront her roommate and tell her she knew what and who she is for a while now and that she has the means to help protect her. aurora is shocked and reacts in the only way she knows : packing up and leaving town faster then you can imagine.
at least that was her plan as she made her way down outside her window but before she even reached the grounded was found and was bolted left right and center. when she loses her footing she knows her life is forfeit but she doesn't even reach the ground. Ezra, friend and fellow fallen angel of kirael, swoops in and rescues her.
this rescue is the start for a dangerous route for both of them on many different levels. both will have to come to terms with their past and future and specially with the present and each other.
i really liked the first book in this series and this one is even better. also love that appearance of some familiar faces.
the battle between good and evil isn't always fair but when you can end it on neutral ground is when you find your happiness!!

copy given in exchange for an honest review.

A very good read.
This is book two in the Sainted Sinner series. Unfortunately, I have not read book one but will be rectifying that asap.
Loosely attached to the Guardian Alphas series, who make an appearance in this book, this book took of right from the start.
I loved Ezra, he was just so great. Worked for both Heaven and Hell once upon a time now he was MORE. A destroyer. It was lovely to see him fall in love slowly even though he didn’t believe it was in his future.
Aurora I found to be immature and slightly silly for most of the book. I understand her need for revenge but it just seemed too much at times to me.
She was so lucky to have Ezra on her side, she would not have survived slipping into Heaven and Hell without him. After nearly getting him killed with her lame brained idea at the end and realising what he meant to her, I am hoping that things improve in their future. Aurora seemed to have her act together at the end.
Al in all a really good read and I hope there will be more books to come.
How about Stella and Lucan’s story?
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Not everyone is out to harm but then again not all that is good is really good. I applaude Vivian with this insight to this kind of situation. She expressed what limits heaven and hell would go to for thier own personal gain. Even stalking an innocent that they have made suffer. I was given this enchanting story in exchange for an honest review and I recommend it to all mortals and immortals to read.
Aurora is a beautiful red headed medium to power, she has the power to shift war in favor of heaven or hell also called a null. She has been running all her life and has lost great. But now her friend sent help to protect her but is he really there to protect her or hurt her? Who is going to protect her heart from home?
Erza is an angel called the destroyer for his duty entails destroying souls back to heaven. He is beautiful and sexy and oh so lost at first sight of aurora. Something about her calls to his inner soul but what? Now order to protect her and seduce her to heaven side will he be able to lie to her and turn her over? Will he really risk it all even heaven for her? Read and find out...Sacrificing for the heart

I have enjoyed this series about fallen angels that start a new life on Earth as protectors. Ezra has lived a lonely life in Heaven and Hell as a Destroyer. He has a new mission to protect a woman that does not want his help. Aurora has learned not to trust anyone and has been on the run for years.

Aurora is a fighter and not looking for a protector. She has learned that both Heaven and Hell have people intent on the destruction of her family. She would rather run than be under anyone's control. However, she has something she needs and Ezra may be able to help her accomplish her tasks. She and Ezra have great chemistry but both fight it to focus on their safety. They have some powerful people after them.

It is best to have read some of the earlier stories first as some of those characters are part of this book as well. You can read it as a standalone as the author does provide background. The story moves fast and has a good mix of action and romance. I like that the characters have their flaws but are at heart have good intentions.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.
