Ruthless Acquisition

Interesting. It has a ton of uncertainty throughout the book. You are unsure what is going to happen and who is double crossing who. There is some rough sexy stuff going on. Lots of D/s and it is a MMMF. The story drags then picks up near the end. It really revs up and everything is solved very quickly. Good read.

This book has it all revenge, enemies-to-lovers, trust issues, rivalry, truce, action, murder, pain, loss, manipulations, drama, danger, lies, violence, hatred, murder, attacks, attempted murder, betrayal, enemies, lust, passion, greed, family secrets, blackmail, anger, deception, murder, power struggles, retaliation, kidnapping, survival, submission, dominance, spanking, kinks, rough intense sexual scene, dirty talking, twists and turns and chalk loads of steam.<br /> They're two robotics companies in Pittsburgh Prestwood Automation which is own by Scarlett Prestwood and Worth Dynamics own Randolph Worth and his two best friends Trent Roark, and Alexander Drummond. Randolph took over the after the company after the death of his father he then brought on his best friends as partners. The three friends are ruthless, sadistic, intelligent, billionaires, deviants, and dark. Scarlett build her company from the ground up with the seed money that her father gave her before he passed away. She's independent, cunning, relentless, intelligent, fierce, beautiful and defiant. Prestwood Automation and Worth Dynamics are rivalry companies vying for the same contract. But Prestwood Automation won the bid which caused Randolph to be livid when he saw Scarlett press conference. Worth Dynamics also lost another client to Scarlett after she won the bid when they decided to jump ship. Scarlett was gloating on television and airing the guys dirty laundry to the media about their sexual proclivities. They wanted revenge to take her down a peg by owning and making her their plaything and completely theirs forever. The four made a bet playing poker for their favorite charity but if Scarlett lost she promise to spend one week with the guys obeying their every command and call them master. Scarlett lost the game but she tried to flee from the hotel and end up over Trent's lap. He gave her spanking then they took her to one of the kink club that they're a member of and give her taste of what the week would like be like each taking their turn to devour her for hour.<br /> Worth Dynamics is having a problem with a company known as Southbound buying up large trunks of their stocks. He and his partners have also been receiving threatening phone calls emails. Randolph believes Scarlett is the one behind it trying to take them down and if so her punishment will be harsh because he will spank her, use her body then take her company. However, Scarlett is experiencing the problem at her company too the phone calls telling her to stay away from Worth Dynamics, threatening emails, and someone has also bought a small portion of her stocks. It would seem like they are a pawn in someone else game. After the night of passion Scarlett was suppose to show up at Worth Dynamics the day but she flee on vacation to California. She knew that the guys was trying to keep her from signing the contract with the new client with the bet so she implemented a fail safe her office manager. The guys hunted her down and spank her for fleeing then use her body as they saw fit. They changed location and took her Cancun to Randolph Villa but the trouble at their company only got worse. The friends were divided when Randolph was hell bent on revenge and tried to put Scarlett in harms way because he still thought she was responsible but Trent and Alexander didn't believe she had anything to do with the attacks thought that they needed to go back home before they lost everything.<br /> Randolph found out that his dad was debt with the Luciano Gambino crime family for four million dollars for gambling and interest rates were eating him alive. Rizzo Valenti is a mob boss from the Valenti crime family of New York. The Gambino crime family and the Valenti crime family is at war because Gambino was trying to muscle in New York and New Jersey. Luciano wants to get rid of Rizzo but can't get close to him he offers Randolph dad an alternative to erase his debt and he became a hitman for Gambino crime family killing Rizzo because he didndidn'tt want to leverage his business. Fast forward years later Rizzo three mafia princes wants revenge for the death of their father against Randolph, Trent, Alexander and Scarlett. They say sins of father are visited upon their children Scarlett is also responsible because her dad and Randolph dad were friends and they believed that her dad was a teacher of cards resulting in all those losses that Randolph dad's had. They were the ones who murdered him. Ruthless Acquisition was well written with well developed characters and great plotline. However, she has excelled herself this time! This book was an incredible, dark romance that at times shocked me to the core. Usually I read her books in one sitting, but with this book I found I had to step back and walk away for a few minutes before I could continue. Scarlett 's firm has just been awarded an important contract making their company one of the loosing bidders. Randolph, Alexander and Trent, the owners of Worth Dynamics were furious, and decide that she will be made to pay. They trick Scarlett into becoming their sex slave for one week. Taking the contract from under them was not the first mistake they believed Scarlett had made in a campaign to destroy their company. Scarlett was not a woman to concede easily, and fought them every way she knew. This story was a twisted tale of revenge, lust and attraction that just blew me away! In the beginning all the three men wanted was to destroy Scarlett, not only intending to break her emotionally, but to take over her business as well. They never expected that they would fall for the woman or that she would be taken from them by another player out for revenge over a event beyond their control! Where to start?!! I have always been a fan of Piper Stone’s and she did not disappoint with this story. This is the story of Scarlett, Randolph, Trent and Alexander. Scarlett is the owner of her own robotics company who is in competition with Randolph, Trent and Alexander. She is tenacious, beautiful and has a little darkness in her! Randolph, Trent and Alexander are dark, dangerous and twisted! When Scarlett ends up winning a bid for a contract, the boys decide to wager a little bet. Little does any of them know that both companies are being threatened and someone is trying to buy stocks slowly from both companies. Scarlett believes it is the boys from the Worth company and the boys believe it is Scarlett making the threats and buying the stocks. There is a love/hate relationship going on with Scarlett and the boys of the Worth company. However, that doesn’t stop them from thinking dirty thoughts and fantasies!<br /><br />What happens when secrets from the past come forth? You have a twisted game, deception, revenge, lust, and passion – lots and lots of passion! To Whom This May Concern: <br /><br />The couple in this book is Scarlett Prestwood &amp; Randolph Worth, Alexander Drummond, and Trent Roark. This is a reverse harem novel with a side of enemies to lovers and a dash of office romance in my opinion. <br /><br />In this book, Scarlett and the boys are rivalry tech companies that are pining for a contract. Through their rivalry, a bet was placed that alter the course of the plot. The book consists of 16 chapters with a prologue. Each chapter had rotating point of views with the different characters. <br /><br />The “romance” scenes were very steamy. I will never judge on the amount of romance scenes in a book, but more the quality of the scenes. The steam is approximately 60% of the book. There are 2 group scenes and a couple one on one interactions sprinkled in between. <br /><br />The ending of the book tied the book together and the character’s conflicts were addressed. <br /><br />With that being sad, I give the book a 4 out of 5. When a bet at a charity event results in Scarlett being theirs for a full week, she discovers what it means to be shared by the men.<br />But someone is lurking in the shadows, threatening all four of them, buying stock in both their companies. They’re all in danger against a faceless enemy as their personal relationship turns on its head.<br />This was a riveting read from start to finish. Scarlett is a spitfire and the three men all complement each other, resulting in a steamy RH relationship whilst fighting for their companies due to past sins they no nothing about. I love Piper Stone's stories. Dark story that I devoured. Randolph, Alexander and Trent developed a robotic business when they got out of college. They are heartless when it comes to their business and as they are Dominate Dom's they carry their aggressions into their private lives. Scarlett owns her own robotic firm and is also aggressive in her business dealings. I love the bet that the guys made with Scarlett. She never thought she would lose to these three guys. The relationship between Scarlett and her three men were all hot and different. There is plenty of control, death, deception, revenge, danger, kidnapping, mafia dealings, murder, suspense, spankings, and plenty of steamy passion. Highly recommend. This is my first RH I'm reading from Piper? And WOW I absolutely loved it! I think all the characters had a level of interesting and depth. I do think though that in terms of steam it starts of shocking an imaginative scene one of the MLs has with the FL being pierced up - it never comes to reality though. And the middle is hot with steam actual RH scenes as well. After that huge buildup it honestly does drag, but then picks up super fast again. <br /><br />My main reason for taking a star away is for the tease steam endings / scenes at the end. There's teasing but as a reader to a hot steam scene...but we are getting the closed door - which will always be a reason for me taking at least a star away.<br /><br />I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ruthless Acquisition is a Dark story that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat reading as fast as you can turn the pages to see whats next, from the first word up until the very last word you are just mesmerized and cannot put this down until you finish. The characters are well matched and their chemistry is red hot. The story has quite a lot of back and forth issues over control, deception, aggression, power, revenge, spankings, murder, D/s scenarios, the suspense is pretty high on the richter scale.
