Introduction:
"Don't sleep with the case lead." If that's a rule in the detective handbook, I'm SCREWED. Eight years ago, Hunter wasn't exactly the type of boy you brought home. Rough and rugged, his fresh leather jacket only made him look even more dangerous. Didn't help that he knew how to make that motorcycle between his muscular thighs purr. I thought he was out of my life forever, but I was wrong... And this time, we're on opposite sides of the law. Me, the fresh new detective, hunting down a missing girls case. And Hunter... the rock-hard biker president of a notorious motorcycle club. He just turned up in the case file... and he might be my only help. Is this a chance to fix everything and set it all right again? If I get swept into this life, there's no turning back…

If you're into bad boys with a sweet side, this book is just for you.

Sarah was the Sheriff's daughter, so you can imagine that having a boyfriend who was part of a motorcycle club was not good. She thought that their relationship was stronger than whatever life could throw at them but after one night everything Sarah and Hunter had was over.

Eight years later, Sarah is sure she'll never see Hunter again. She's a detective now and needs to prove to every man in the force she's just as good. But her boss hates her and sends her on an impossible missing girls case that puts Hunter right in front of her.

Saved by the Bad Boy grabs your attention from the start. What starts like a rebellious act from Sarah soon turns into more. She's in love with Hunter and you can see it when they talk and how they protect each other, she's trying to help him and keep them together. And their chemistry is of the charts!

Eight years later and that fire they had is still there. And is not just their bodies remembering, they can work as a team perfectly.

Hunter hasn't changed even though he now leads the club. He's still looking for justice, he just learned at a young age that sometimes that didn't come from the police. So he does his best and leads his club and neighbors the best he can. He's been looking for those girls, and others, longer than the police and won't give up until he brings them home.

I enjoyed the relationship between Sarah and Hunter. Their past made it easy to see their connection and make it believeable. The way they were described, in tones of grey instead of making them completely good or bad added another dimension to the story, I mean the club lead some illegal dealings but also protected their people while Sarah was willing to bend and break rules to get the girls back.

Nikki Wild introduces a nice world that I'm intrigued with. The book does end with a cliffhanger, just so you know, Sarah and Hunter's story isn't over.

Saved By The Bad Boy, the first book in The Devil's Dragons MC series, was a quick read.
I found it to be from a single character POV, Sarah, who is the daughter of the local Sheriff. The author begins this story quickly from Sarah's thoughts and memories of high school and for her love of Hunter, the bad boy in this installment.
They are separated early on, after a police raid is commenced while Sarah is with Hunter at the MC his is a part of; the characters do not reunite until eight years later. He has become the President of the MC and she has been promoted to Detective with the Police Force.
They combine forces in order to locate and rescue young women who are kidnapped by a Mexican cartel with intentions of human trafficking.
This story left me disconnected from the characters and mildly disappointed.
I was able to read this book in one day and felt like I was reading a news report instead of a heartfelt, suspenseful, dramatic novel.
The storyline was captivating enough to read to the end, which ended up closing on a cliffhanger, yet it just lacks in so many ways throughout.
I honestly was able to skim over so much in attempts to move forward.
The explicit areas were reminiscent of the entire book. Lacking.
Maybe it was just me, but I am baffled by the high ratings this has received on Amazon and wish it just had more; suppose if I continue with the next installment, I will be find the missing links...

I actually finished this in one sitting; what a fantastic & captivating story and now I cannot wait to read the next 2 in the series. I will remember this story for a long time, the characters were superbly written and easy to fall in love with their passion for life. Hunter, was a uniquely written character who starts out as somewhat of a cocky young man new to the MC lifestyle but surprises happen around every corner, very pleased with how he grew within the story.
Sarah, was a surprise too and the fact that she excelled out of her bratty stage was a cool surprise.
Thrills, chills, grit, edge, violence, retribution, revenge and love with steamy & sizzling scenes make this story an awesome ride.

Wow. This was William Wallace in leather and on a motorbike

There was a good plot here. But the whole "Braveheart" dialogue ruined it completely. It was so unbelievable it started to become a comedy, for me.
I liked the heroine in a strong position but the author turned her into a bit of a useless bimbo. The hero was great until he started to sound like William Wallace leading his mem to "victory"
I liked how there was no staged angst between H/h. They pretty much picked up where they left off.
But everything else (although written well) was very unrealistic.
And why add the pregnancy onto the blurb when its only mentioned on the very last line. I hated the epilogue.

What a captivating story, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. At first I thought it was going to be just the average good girl, daughter of a sheriff falls in love with the bad boy who her father would very much disprove of but it was a lot more than that. I really liked the characters and the development between Sarah and Hunter and how they found each other after 8 years. It's packed with action, crime and bikers. I will be picking up the next one in this series, Nikki Wild really knows how to keep you guessing and how to keep you reading. A really great book.

Good story

I liked that this wasn't the typical girl falls for bad boy biker and leaves everything behind for him. The story unfolds and you realize there is more to the biker boyfriend than you would originally think. Well thought out characters and great story plot. Read in one sitting.
