Again, I am weary of Miss Christy's books. So far I only love 1. Sparking Sara had a promising burb. The audiobook is 9 hours long. And majority of the story is focusing on the hero's POV. On his childhood, his friends, his job, his family, his past, etc.
Not so much on the chemistry nor the romance.

Once Sara awake, it takes forever for their romance to blossom. I have to admit, I lost interest in the middle.

Oh well... moving on

2 stars

Samantha Christy brings the feels. Sara and Denver struggle to navigate in her new reality where they think they can't have what they really want. Both characters grow and change for the better in such a realistic way. So glad to see Denver finally have some good happen. He finally gets his HEA.

Getting lost in his kiss.
Getting lost in his gray eyes.
Past or Present.
Feelings torn between two men.
My fiancé or the man with the gray eyes that I see in my dreams.

Sparking Sara is an unforgettable journey between Sara Francis and Denver Andrews. An accident brings them together and together they heal. Making new memories while trying to remember the past. But the past may be to painful to remember. The struggle of moving forward. Being a better person. Going with your heart or with what everyone else is telling you.

Samantha Christy has once again written a book that brings characters to life with real life situations to the pages of her book. The research and time she spends on her characters is what makes her my most favorite author. I love reuniting with past characters and meeting new ones (Sara’s cousin). This book will forever be special to me?

“Sparking Sara” by Samantha Christy

**SPOILER ALERT**

When you already love an author, you know her next book will be just as fantastic as all the others but one never expects that her next book would consume you even more….. I was so wrong….here it is… another “Master piece”

Denver was wrongly convicted of a crime and after he was finally found innocent, he struggles to find his place in the world. All he ever wanted to do was be a fire fighter but even that has its limits. His parents died in a horrific car accident and because of this, he tends to freeze up when he is faced with a horrific accident. How will he ever overcome his fears?

Denver’s company is called to an accident scene and he is trying to help a young woman who is badly injured. She is in and out of consciousness but all he can see is her eyes in a rear view mirror. Her hauntingly beautiful brown eyes.

Time quickly goes by and she is finally released from the confines of the mangled car and is rushed to the hospital.

He has to see her… he has to make sure she survived. It was touch and go and she may not make it but he needs to be with her. He later learns that she has no one coming to see her. She has a cousin and due to a rocky past, they don’t really communicate but at least she makes an appearance however cannot commit to being there for Sara every day. She has a boyfriend but he too is MIA. Against his family and friends protests, he forms a new routine. Work… Visit Sara….Go home, sleep…work, visit Sara…go home, sleep…. rinse and repeat. He does not realise it yet, but his visits is what gets Sara going.

As times goes by, Sara becomes aware of her surroundings but is confused….who are all these people? She somehow recognises one set of eyes but who is he and how does she know him? She tries to speak but she can’t…. Having a tube down ones throat cannot be comfortable. Frustrated she tries to grab the offending thing but a soothing voice is heard and it belongs to him. She is drawn to him… She trusts him. His eyes are so familiar and yet she doesn’t know him. Why is he here? As time goes on, she realises that having him by her side… reading, playing cards and telling stories, she feels safe… Is he her guardian angel?

I could carry on for hours and tell you how amazing this book is but leaving a detailed review will not do and it will spoil it for you! You HAVE to read this book.

Samantha has a way with words that will find its way into every part of your heart and soul. The stories come alive and you feel as if you are a part of the story itself. You and the characters become one…. This story will take your breath away from beginning to end. Its heart breaking because the pain is real….. The love is fierce… and the hope, is alive.

A second chance at life is not something that is often granted but when it happens, grab it with both hands. You never know when you may take your last breath. Love with everything you have….

Make memories as often as you can. Life is cruel at times but you can make a difference and live like there is no tomorrow.

Thank you Samantha for a phenomenal story.

It was pretty good, not my favorite from this author. Nothing steamy until like 3/4 of the way through the book! Ha ha liked the story though.

Wowsers!
What a completely unique story. Two lost souls just trying to find their way in the world. Both just as lost as the other.
Denver is such a beautiful man. With a huge heart he only wants the best for everyone, even if he ends up empty handed.
Sara is confused and scared of the unknown.
The chemistry between them is there from the start but slowly gets stronger throughout the book. I adore their friendship above anything else, they bounce off each other and make each other whole.
Once again Samantha has been extremely detailed and factual, so you can truly understand and see every detail. I love her words!
This book has had me consumed from the start and has left me feeling all warm and fluffy inside! It was such a beautiful story.
5 massive stars!

I received an ARC of this book and absolutely loved it. I was not expecting this storyline and it was amazing. Such a heartfelt read. I love how all of Samantha's characters are intertwined in all of her stories. Looking forward to Brett's adventure! ?

BOOM...Yet again Samantha blows us out of the water with the second of the Men on Fire series.

Denver has had so much tragedy in his life, and for those of you that have already read Stealing Sawyer, you will be familiar with his past (If not you really should, don’t know what you’re missing ?). Through that tragedy his heart is set on becoming a firefighter, however much his heart may be in it, his mind is another matter.

Sara, she has so many battles to overcome. Will Denver be the one to help or make matters worse?

No spoilers here! Reading it is the only way to find out.

Another Real Hard Love lesson from Samantha, nothing comes easy and this one truly doesn’t.

Pain, Heartache and Passion a recipe for a great book.
❤️?❤️
