I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I just want to be truthful and say that I only read Nichole Severn's, The Line of Duty. Ms. Severn is a favorite author of mine. I just adorn her stories. I get lost in the world that she creates and time just slips away.

This story is no different. The coming together of these two people and creating a team that virtually destroyed a large team of corrupt cops in the Alaskan wilderness is enchanting. After their small plane crashes in the mountains in winter, they have to not only survive the elements but the corrupt men sent to take them out.

I must say that the twists and turns that these two have to go through and face together and apart is one that kept me glued to the e-reader (sorry honey for not fixing dinner tonight. Ok not really!!)

The author does a great job in leading up to sexy times with very little details before fading completely away. Thus making this story one that could be appropriate for all. I really hated for the story to end but look forward to more from this author.

I love reading Survival on the Summit.
I loved in The Line of Duty.

Officer Shea Ramsey Is a very strong woman is trying her best to get out of Alaska.

Vincent Kalani with Blackhawk operative aboard the plane. He was in Anchorage Alaska looking and found evidence who was behind killing fire in killing his partner.

Then the plane was getting ready for takeoff and a gorgeous Shea Ramsey board the plane just before the plane took off.
The plane takes of and all of sudden the plane is acting up. The two get ready when the plane is going to crash so they go prepared for any situation of what they were about to face. Nerver knowing they where headed into the Alaskan Mountains.
These two had Survival on the Summit in there plane and had to protect themselves for whatever was coming at them full force. As long as worked together the might have the chance of Survival on the Summit.
Between stay alive Vincent promised to get her home for the court date of son.
Will Vincent save the life of both Shea and her son?
What will happen the two of them when this is all over?
Nichole you make me feel what Vincent and Shea went through.
Characters make this book that you won't put down.

This two in one is full of action and adventure. If you have read one of these authors you will thoroughly enjoy the other. Both are reprints, but definitely worth the time.

LINE OF DUTY - Nichole Severn is quite new to me but I am loving her books and this one is no exception.
What are the chances of Vincent Kalari and Shea Ramsey being booked onto the same small plane. Vincent is a member of the prestigious Blackhawk Security team who are all highly trained and support the US government, Vincent's speciality is forensics and he has a break in a murder case that has evaded police detection.
Shea is an officer in the Anchorage PD, she has a deep dislike of Blackhawk and Vincent in particular, she despised the way that they break the rules and defy convention.
When the plane crashes and it becomes evident that someone wants them dead they only have each other to rely on. Both of them try to fight the attraction that is growing between them as they also fight the unknown entity that is stalking them across the snow bound mountains.
This is a story of passion, loyalty, mistrust, betrayal and corruption, the selfless unwavering love of a mother for her son, the blossoming love between Shea and Vincent and the psychological wall that they have to pull down. Action packed and suspense filled.

TRUSTING A STRANGER - This is the first book that I have read by Melinda Di Lorenzo and I loved it.
When Keira Niles set off in a blizzard to reunite her would be boyfriend Drew with his briefcase little did she know how much her life was about to change.
Graham Calloway has been on the run for four years, wanted for the murder of his wife and stepson, he was being helped to prove his innocence by his friend, a police officer .When Graham comes across a crashed car near his mountain cabin hideout he can't ignore the beautiful woman trapped inside.
This story follows the fight that Graham has to prove his innocence, the difficulty in staying off the radar, the blossoming love between Shea and her mountain man, the gutsy and often amusing way that gutsy Shea stands up to Graham and his adversaries. the story has plenty of action and unexpected twists.
Two really good books
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

This is a collection of two books one by a favourite author for me in Nichole Severn the other totally unknown to me but may become another favourite

The Line of Duty by Nichole Severn is a fairly fast read but it sure crams a lot into those pages even if sometimes you are shaking your head thinking is that even possible Vincent Kalani is a member of the Blackhawk team in fact he is their forensic specialist he is supposed to have left an old case behind but is in fact still tracking down what he thinks is a murder While returning to NY to search for more evidence he is surprised to see Anchorage police officer Shea Ramsey she doesn't particularly like the men from Blackhawk she thinks they are cowboys who will break the law to achieve their own ends But when their plane goers down and they have killers on their trail these two will have to work together if they are to survive and in the process may start to look at one another in a whole new light. Be prepared for a wild ride

Trusting a Stranger by Melinda Di Lorenzo this is a new author for me but I was totally enthralled in this read from the first page Graham Calloway was the prime suspect in the death of his wife and step son and even though he was innocent he knew that the police where going to arrest him so he ran and has been hiding in a remote cabin working at finding who the killer is and proving his innocence He has stayed out of sight until he finds a woman trapped in a car after an accident Keira Niles life is also in turmoil and she doesn't trust the man that saved her especially when she learns of his past but when danger threatens he may be the only one who can save her and in the process prove his own innocence Can they have a future You will have to read to see

This book contains two stories i will try to tell you a little bit about each one.

The line of Duty: I liked this book and really it works as stand alone if needed. Vincent is a great character and talented at his work.....i loved his persistence and how he wants to protect his teamates even if he made him forget that they were a team no matter what.
Shea i liked a lot less...i hated how she judged Blackhawks security team , thinking she was superior without really knowing them or what they do what they need to do.

The investigation was well done simply the culprit was way too evident for me , i probably should not read the characters description but in this case even just the story... it was so evident i could not believe Vincent could have missed that.

So it's a good book if you like romance suspense even if the female lead is a bit annoying and the culprit evident you can spend a good time

Trusting a Stranger by Melinda Di Lorenzo

this one i liked less....the investigation is well written, lot of twists so it's interesting but i had a problem with the Keira.....really it's not realistic at all yes at first she can be afraid with what happened but then she is nearly paranoid, not trusting at all the next second she fell in his arms trusting him with her life.......all that in less than 48h sorry but that's too quick for such a change of mind. I can understand the fear at first after she is stupid not seeing he is saving her and after..man she has no mind at all it seems......

so good suspense to spend the time but nothing outstanding at all
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of The Line of Duty . This story took off from the beginning till the finish with pulse pounding action . WoW! I couldn't put it down . The suspense was off the charts and intense . Vincent Kalani works for Blackhawk security . He finally has evidence he needs to catch a killer in New York where he worked with the NYPD a year ago . He boards a small passenger plane in Alaska surprised to find the beautiful Officer Shea Ramsey is also on board . While on the flight things go horrible wrong . They crash in the frozen Alaskan mountains . They don't only have to fight to survive injuries and freezing weather . They must fight for their lives as Vincents past has come after them .I enjoyed reading this story so much . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Trusting a Stranger - This story is action packed and Suspenseful from the start a good story to pair with the first . Keira Niles
Is not prepared for what unfolds when she sets out to catch up with her neighbor Drew . She travels into the Rocky Mountains to surprise Drew . Her plans soon take a dangerous turn and thank goodness Graham comes to her rescue . While with Graham Keira finds he's wanted for a murder he didn't commit and Drew her neighbor is involved . Soon they find themselves fighting for their lives . This story is fantastic . It's full of suspense and intrigue . I highly recommend taking the time to read

Oh, two books full of action and suspense at 5 stars each makes this a 10 star read!! Survival On The Summit is comprised of The Line Of Duty by Nichole Severn and Trusting A Stranger by Melinda Di Lorenzo.

The Line Of Duty is an action-packed romantic suspense. Ms. Severn has delivered an exciting and well-written book that I couldn't put down. The characters only enhance this phenomenal story. Vincent, Blackhawk Security forensic expert is going to New York to try to solve the last thing he was working on when he was NYPD. Shea sometimes works with Blackhawk as an Anchorage Police Department officer. When their plane goes down they are forced to work together. Shea and Vincent's story is loaded with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense.

I enjoyed every page of these books and look forward to reading more from these talented authors soon. Both of the books are standalones and no cliffhangers.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A rerelease of two wintertime classics that are well worth reading again.

Nichole Severn’s The Line of Duty is book 6 of 6 in the Blackhawk Security series and can be read as a standalone but the other’s are exceptional reads themselves. The book starts off with a bang or rather a plane crash followed by an avalanche. Vincent and Shea not only have to survive the elements but the bad guys that chase them from the wilds of Alaska to the mean streets of New York as they tried to stop the cadre of corrupt NYPD attempting to kill them. Are they working for Shea’s ex-husband or are they trying to silence Vincent?

Melinda Di Lorenzo’s installment has a wrongfully accused murdered who has been trying to find the man that killed his wife and stepson four years earlier. He finally has a lead when Keira literally crashed into his life. Deciding the doctor that saved her life wouldn’t have murdered the woman he loved Keira joins him in his quest to find justice.
