Introduction:
Jacque’s mind wandered as she hovered somewhere between life and death. Her body longed to let go, to sink into the peaceful abyss, to the place where she didn’t have to worry about rabid, child-snatching vampires and the carnage they’d caused to so many innocent families. But something kept her here, tethered to this world, something she couldn’t quite remember hovered just on the edge of her consciousness, something vital. It wasn’t Fane, he would be with her on the other side, she knew that. If she died, he died too and he wouldn’t have it any other way. She could feel Peri’s presence in her body. The fae was fighting, expending every ounce of her energy to keep her and Fane alive and the strain was taking its toll on the fae. But why? Why was the fae fighting as if her own life depended upon Jacque’s survival? Jacque was starting to remember someone else—someone that depended on her. A brand new life, precious and perfect…her son.Costin’s best friend lay as if sleeping, clinging to...

This was an awesome book. I have to say I have been a fan of Quinn's for a long time. I enjoyed this book as much as the first three, which are my favorites.

Sally is living in a different country, city, and state away from her pack mates with no knowledge of who she is, who they are, or what has happened to her since her memory has been altered. A lot of heart break happens in this book. You need lots of tissues. There were a lot of new characters to fall in love with. I love Titus, Zara, and Bethany.
Quinn, it is about time poor old Wadim.... well I won't say anymore because that would be a spoiler and ruin the surprise. Let's just say I am happy about the history boy. Excuse me, for the ADD. It was like my mind just veered of track.
When we left the last book Jacque and Fane were being kept alive with Peri's very life force. I can't say whether they made it or not, but they had a beautiful baby boy that is being cared for by his grandmothers in the first of this book. So like I said a lot of heart ache and pain. But this was an awesome book. I felt some of the emotions they felt. I laughed, cried, and was terrified of what would happen next. This book didn't feel rushed. It was well written, and I fell in love with the characters.
Bethany is finally able to get some things settled with Drake.

I highly recommend this book. It was amazing!!!!!! I would give it ten stars if I could.

Thank you Quinn for your awesome books. It feels like you share a piece of your heart with me every single time I read something you write.

Whoa! THAT.WAS.INTENSE (in a great way). The Burning Claw was amazing! It's one that's a little darker than some because of the drama unfolding and I cannot wait to see how Quinn starts to handle all the issues going on in this book. This book really laid out the whole problem and we (the reader) begin to see it all unfold. I love, love all the new characters and I'm such a sucker for those bossy male wolves that adding more of them and true mates is a huge WIN in my book! Quinn was able to be true to the characters we have loved from the beginning, and maintaining an exciting and dramatic story line, all while moving the book along at a good pace (I don't know how she does it). She is an amazing author and I can honestly say I am blessed to have found her!

This book is special to me because I am such a 'Sally' so I relate to her the most and this story really focuses on her and wow, what a road she has gone on and will still need to travel BUT don't count us Sally's of the World's out! We have an inner strength that Quinn is able to capture so well!

Let me just say that there are some new true mates and I found myself engrossed in their sections! I never tire of these couples rather I just feed off it with delight! Please Quinn don't ever stop giving us the same beloved couples and bringing us joy when new ones meet! The couples are what make the books in my opinion. It's about the relationships between mates, the pack, friends and that is what it's all about!

You did it again friend!!!! Hugs!

5 years and 10 books later, I have decided to call it quits with this series. Recently, Quinn took to her Facebook to ask readers on whether or not she should continue writing for TGWS. My first thought was absolutely not, TGWS has been one of my favorite paranormal series to date. Why would she ever want to stop? Unfortunately, I hadn't finished this book yet, and now that I have, I do believe it's time for an end. It has been a pleasure to watch Quinn grow not only as a writer but as a person. Her rewrites show her constant need to do better and it's truly inspiring to see such dedication. I do believe there are not many people that can develop a group of characters quite like Quinn can, I just wish the characters tugged more at my heart strings this time around. There are so many ways to be captured, saved and re captured. So many times a person can lose their memory, and so many jokes Jacque and Jen can make before it gets old. At this point, we are just beating a dead horse. Maybe it's time for a new series? I'd be all for a new one.

This book was a slap in the face to the years I have spent reading her books. Every one else may be complementing the book like it was genius but all I saw was some one trying to be clever. It didn't work. This disrespect to me and other readers has now made it tthat I will no longer support this author. By making sally sleep with some one else Quinn has lost a reader. she couldn't let the story end no she had to become greedy and milk the story line for all it's worth. Reading her books is like kicking a dead horse you get sick of it at some point Quinn has just speed up the process by betraying me. Many are saying how good this book was and I honestly have no idea where they got that notion. Sally sleeped with some one else and I don't really care that is was this weird brackets fault it still happened and I don't want to read about how they will heal. Costin may be able to get over it but I sure as hell won't! Good bye Quinn hope trying to be clever was worth losing a reader.

UGH! Okay so there were so many problems with this book. One, the narrator. Two, what the hell kind of ending was that horse shit? This was written in 2016.. so why does it feel like I'm supposed to have another book after this one? I've yet to find it.

The Burning Claw was interesting, if you can get past the whole hating the narrator thing. Then there's the whole Sally and Costin issue. I was so freaking upset with what happened. I don't understand what people have against this group of shifters.. but damn, they need a break! I really need them to get their shit together but that didn't happen in this book either.

Between people going feral, losing their memory, and sort of falling in love.. I was a hot mess. This book was a hot mess. Heck! Sally and Costin deserved so much better. Everyone did really but damn, I was freaking out over what was happening to their story line. Just ask my buddy who read this series with me!!

Overall, I'm wondering when there will be another book because this series could not end on the burning claw club note.

I don't even know where to start.
This was amazing and I can't wait for the next one.
I appreciated that it picked up right where Den of Sorrows left off because we had some serious issues that needed to be resolved.
First off, I'm glad Jaque and Fane aren't dead, though I didn't really have any doubt that they wouldn't make it.
I totally ship Bethany and Drake.
The only thing I could think about Sally is that she a ho and that Costin was going to have to die until he just kept gaining control and fighting that dearness. Kudos to you. And that reunion at the end there was so intense and devastating and made me so dang emotional but reminded me of everything I loved about them from the beginning. And Titus, my man, is just the epitome of adorableness.
I thought it was leaning towards Skender ending up as Zara's mate but I like her and Wadim sooooo much better. That whole thing brought forth the biggest reaction at the point in the book. They are just yummy.
But what the freak you think you're doing Skender? If any of my children get hurt I'm gonna explode and probably die in a hole.
