3.5
Este segundo libro estuvo interesante pero creo que en dos libros esta serie seria mejor. Había capítulos que no aportaban nada y sí hacía que perdiera un poco el interés en la lectura.
Espero y el próximo sea mejor.

I liked it but it was nothing special, which is disappointing because the premise had potential.

This is a fab chaotic second book that has all the adventure, thrill and excitement of the first! There’s action, suspense, intrigue, magic, mythology and mythical beings and I am really enjoying all the mischief along the way!
So, it turns out Titan power is pretty awesome. Only I can’t control my new gift and that’s not only embarrassing but also dangerous.
And I’m sure our new professor is one of the two demons I accidentally let loose in Olympus. Icarus says we should lay low for a while but every time Professor Neos flashed me those red eyes I want to challenge him.
And when students start collapsing to the ground with their souls stolen, I don’t have a choice but to act.
Olympus Academy: The Demon Demigod is the second book in the Olympus Academy series. Expect epic magic, lethal demons, fierce friendships, budding romance, a few twists and turns and even flying ships!

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story.

Continuing from where book 1 left off, Pandora has discovered how to use her Titan powers, but also bears the burden of her actions. When students start collapsing to the ground with their souls stolen, Pandora realizes the impact of her decisions in book 1 and will do anything to rectify the situation – even if it means working with a demon.

Definitely an exciting and suspenseful read, possibly more so than the first. We even meet a certain character you may be familiar with from the Immortality Trials series (not telling you who ;)). I am loving this series, this creative world, these amazing characters and the deeply defined plot and conflicts. I am really looking forward to seeing how the series will continue!
Audio book review

Book 2 in the series. The story continues where the first one left off . The author again wrote a strong story , with lots of imagination. Pandora the hero is half human and half Titan , she’s at an academy trying to learn what her background is , from her mothers side . In this one you get to see more of Icarus
Pandora is still learning what all her powers are and what she can do , when she lets out into the world some energy that is evil beings . She needs to learn how to reign them in , with help from her classmates. As exams are coming up quickly they need to move quickly to destroy the demons. Do they trust their teacher that has glowing red eyes . Grab it and see what Pandora does to make up for her mistake. Grab it and see . It ends on a cliffhanger.

Kathleen Li performance was great. Her voice is very smooth, strong and clear

I really, really like the cover of this book.
That’s about all I liked.
I read the first book in this series, and thought ‘It’s a lot like Percy Jackson, it’s set in a school full of descendants of Greek Gods, the headmaster is a Centaur,’ but I powered through and didn’t loathe the book (other than the male love interest hated the MC until 5 pages before the end and then suddenly loved her).
HOWEVER! Now that there is a second book- I expected some real originality. Some unique catch? Nope. Same lessons. Same problem. No character progression.
So disappointing that I DNF. And that is rare!
I wanted to like it so much- but it fell flat. In ‘school fiction’, I think there needs to be progression, just like a teen progressing through school. At least in Harry Potter, we got to see different subjects, new teachers, unexplored areas AS WELL as new problems and characters.
To start, I want to get something off my chest.... I DON’T TRUST DASKO OR NEOS AT ALL!!!!!
If they double cross her, I will not show any shock at all because I called it from the first book (with Dasko).

Anyway, Dora the Explorer needs to stand up for herself, and Icarus needs to stop being a angsty shy boy that is angry at Pandora. At this point, I like Neos better for her in a forbidden love way. He is a bad person that will probably betray her. I would choose all of that over Icarus since he is being a little brat ever since he found out that she “lied” to him. In fact, he is picturing Pandora with other guys that would be “better” for her, and I agree with him at this point! Grow up!

As you can tell, I’m a little heated about Pandora’s and Icarus’ relationship. Can wait to start the next book!

A fast-paced sequel featuring a frantic race against time as Pandora and Icarus try to determine the identities and locations of the remaining two demons released from the box at the end of the first book. One demon is actively preying upon the student population, stealing their souls, and the other has disguised itself as a professor and may be messing with Pandora's head. In the middle of all of this, there are also exams... and failure is not an option! The set up for the final book is quite exciting!

There is a lot of distrust here. I don't trust that demon. It's just a feeling. The author formulated this really well. My mind was going all over the the place. I keep repeating that I don't trust the demon, even Dasko. He's suspicious. Love that she have great friends. Great friends are what you need in situations like that.

As always you've written this novel well.
Can't wait for Poseidon books to come out! I'm so curious of his story. Take your time though don't hut yo' self hurrying
;-)
