Overall this was good. We had to deal with more of the fights and challenges. The good news is that that part of the story is over and someone terrible has finally died. However, now Selena has to move on to another quest. This sets us up for the next book.

I loved this book mainly because Selena feels an undeniable attraction to Julian yet in stead of Falling into his arms she remains strong puts up a strong façade. I hate those books where the heroine has to be strong and avoid the main love interest and their tripping over their feet to get to the main love interest/antagonist/maybe enemy. So yeah, I would put Selena up their in strong female heroines. I mean she avoided her soulmate and kept her feelings a secret.

Also stupid question can she fly? I mean she does have wings right?

I read an ARC of the last book in this series and I read ARCs of the prequels series to this one and I've enjoyed all the books! I was excited to continue with this series because the last book had a lot in it and left the story at an intriguing ending! I wasn't sure when this book was supposed to be releasing, but the author actually released it a lot earlier than planned lol! I received an ARC of it and read it as soon as I could! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed it! I felt like the author continued on the plot perfectly and there was a lot in it! The plot had plenty of romance between the main character and her love interest, which developed even further! I loved that it did! There were a few surprises as well and these scenes added a lot to the plot and changed things! There was a lot of action and suspense as well! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! Selena was again the main female character, and Selena was determined in this book and she knew what she had to do! I did feel for her because she went through a lot and had some big decisions to make! Selena tried though and she really held her own! Julian was again the main male character and love interest of Selena! Julian was in this book a lot, which I loved! Julian also supported Selena and he was always there for her to talk things through and help her! I loved that their relationship grew as well because they make quite a couple! Torrence was also a main female character as well because half of this book was written from her point of view! I loved Torrence in this book! Like Selena, Torrence was determined and did what she had to do to get what she needed! This put her in danger and I can see it potentially having an impact in future books! The books in this series and the prequel series have all been written from a few different point of views, so I knew that this book was going to be written the same way! It was and although most of it was written from Selena's point of view, but a lot of chapters were written from Torrence's point of view and then there was one chapter from Sorcha's point of view as well! I loved this book being written this way because it allowed for more things to happen in the plot and it helped me connect with all the characters as well and for more characters to be in the book! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's going to be a few months wait, but that isn't that long of a wait and this book did release early! I'll definitely be anticipating its release and I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next! This book was also left at the perfect place to lead into the next book! I also love the cover for this book a lot! It suits the book perfectly and you can see how well it does after you read the book! I love that it has the same cover model on it as well because she's the perfect Selena! Big thank you to Michelle for an ARC of The Faerie Mates!

First of all, I just want to say thank you to Michelle Madow for giving me an ARC of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.

The Faerie Mates is the third book in the Faerie Games series by Michelle Madow. The Faerie Mates definitely took this series to a darker place. It's so well written that you can clearly picture everything, as if you were watching it all take place through one of the orbs. The betrayals, secrets, romance, and action all combine to make this the most exciting book in the series. The Faerie Games are brutal, but we finally get to see them come to an end! However, this series is far from over and I can't wait to read the next book, The Faerie Wand!

Let the games continue, not only in the Coliseum but at the villa as well. Its seems like everyone is out to save their own skin but is the some that Selena can trust. This is where everyone must so their true colors with it coming to an end. As for Torrence and their mission thing start of great but when things get bad decisions must be made and every choice could change your life. Full of action, romance and secrets that will keep you captured in Michelle's world she has built.

Holy smokes. This third part of the series is dark and twisted. Selena and Julian face some tough obstacles including new monsters and the other champions. There are surprises from multiple quadrants. People are involved in ways not expected as you think when you first met them. It’s well written and addicting. I can’t wait for the next installment of the series.

Amazing, I was stuck reading from page to page as the story went further and further. So much goes on that makes it impossible for me to list all I loved here. Exciting and action packed is the best two I can think of to explain the story and feelings it gives. I do recommend this book and all the books in the DarkWorld.

Things got ugly in cruel ways

So, I enjoyed this a lot more. Mainly has to do with Selena's friend who is in a love triangle. I'm enjoying Torrence's journey more because of her thing with a distant and cocky guy in her search party. The ending was an interesting twist and I both like and dislike that only now are the crowds being questioned in regards to how genuine their bloodthirst is. This plague thing in the background is also nice, and I'm honestly still hoping that Felix didn't mean what he said...

I liked this one too. I will say that it kinda annoyed me that in the description it hyped up the “should I tell him we’re soulmates or not?” and then like 3 chapters in she confesses. They definitely should have put more emphasis on the other more significant events in the book. Oh well. Still a great read!

Amazing. This book was filled with deceit. I hate how Cassia was betrayed and how she died. I hated Octavia for torturing her all because she was jealous. I love that before Bridget died she shows Selena that Julian is her soulmate and helps Selena harness her powers. I loved that Octavia is finally killed and Julian and Selena win.
