The God

I am sorry to say that I didn’t enjoy this book. Bodhan seemed so different to how he was that saw in the last book. In this book he just seemed like a beta hero and not the dark alpha he portages before. I also didn’t like what he did to Dasha in the past but the main issue I had was that I truly felt no chemistry or connection between them. I was expecting something quite explosive when they met again but it just felt too anti climactic. I also to be honest found Dasha bland with no real depth to her. The storyline had a lot of potential for me but again I felt dissatisfaction at how it ended. People were let off too easily and where I would have expected Bodhan to have exacted dark justice he just let it go! For what some of these side characters did I expected more but Bodhan and Dasha just let it all go for a very fast and lukewarm HFN. Jones! - EXCELLENT !<br /><br /><br />Bodhan and Dasha's second chance story was everything I expected it would be! S.R. Jones can really write edgy and dark stories!<br /><br />I can't wait for Vasily and Zoe's suspenseful story!

Both of them were continuing living their life , until they were put on each other's path again by fate. Soon old feelings arise again and now it is up to them if they give into those feelings again. Dasha is not a big fan of Bodhan. The way they parted terms, broke her heart and she is not ready to go through that again. Bodhan on the other hand wants to help her get out of the trouble she has landed herself in. <br><br>This book had all the feels and I loved the mafia elements of it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️<br />???<br /><br />This was excellent reading, be aware of some triggers to domestic violence among other things.<br />Bodhan and Dasha have such great chemistry and memories together.<br />Love her nasty husband character too, great baddie material.<br />

<strong>Okay read</strong><br /><br />Bodhan and Dasha have differing views on forgiveness. I would have had Dasha’s mother shot in both kneecaps and placed in a home for what she did to Bodhan.

So so good!! Bohdan and Dasha were sweethearts that parted and not on good terms. When they are put in the each other’s paths again Bohdan knows he must help her get out of the nightmare she is living with her husband and forms a plan. Bohdan and Dasha’s chemistry and passion for each other is palpable. A fantastic read filled with drama, suspense, angst, chemistry, and love. Dasha and Bohdan are exes that didn’t end well, but now they have been pushed together, making those feeling they had when they were together come back.<br />Dasha isn’t going to let Bohdan break her heart again.<br />Bohdan doesn’t know if he loves or hates Dasha for what happened but he knows wants to get Dasha away from where she is and safe. <br />When Dasha finds out her new ‘bodyguard’ is Bohdan one thing she knows is that he would never hurt her the way her husband is, can she trust him to help her get away and can she trust him with her heart again.<br />

The storyline was well written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were created with such great detail and depth that Dasha and Bohdan kept me totally engaged as each and every page was turned until the very last page!

It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

DNF @ 20%. The writing wasn’t sharp enough, the voice of the male and female protagonist felt interchangeable, and the plot didn’t feel tight. I expected something darker, with more tension, and a more focused plot. <br />
